In a blink I pushed him away from me, wiping my bottom lips with my index finger, as my heart raced. His kisses weren't supposed to make me hot, Reece is the bad guy, my enemy, the man who stole my inheritance. I mumbled to myself, but it sounded more like I was trying to convince myself and see reasons why I shouldn't live in the moment with Reece.

"You said only you has the right to decide if I touched you". He began, chuckling bitterly. "That was just a little lesson to prove to you that your mine Evelyn, and I don't need your permission before claiming any part of your body, and the kiss well, your lips wasn't as great as I thought it would taste so I'm never making the mistake of kissing you again".

My eyes grew double the size, could this guy be any more of an asshole.

"And lest I forget we would be sleeping in my room together, so you will go downstairs and pack all your....".

I cut him off. "Never. Over my dead body would I ever share a room with an asshole like you"

He chuckled, why did everything have to amuse him. "Is just one day into our marriage and your already giving me a pet name, isn't that so romantic".

I cringed, Romantic? Reece, Romantic and I, just wasn't a word that could rhyme in the same sentence. I hated Reece, he was my enemy and nothing was ever going to change my cruel feelings towards him, not now, not ever.

"And what are you thinking about loser?".

I blinked, loser. He just called me a loser, if only he knew what I was made of, and how much money I had robbed from him, he really wouldn't be calling me a loser, but just for the sake of my pride, I don't let his witty comment slip. I come up with an instant comeback.

"Loser? isn't it ridiculous how your accounts has been constantly hacked consecutively for the past eight years and you still haven't been able to trace out who's responsible yet you call me a loser. Hell, your the real loser, and as for that pet name shit you spoke of, don't flatter yourself your not even good-looking enough for any woman to want to ever come up with a pet name for you, unless it's names like ditchback, Motherfucker, and the likes, which obviously aren't pet names but perfect description of the asshole you are. I didn't want to be in this marriage as much as you didn't, and on that note you have no right deciding what room I stay, or any and every thing that concerns me".

He frowned. "How do you know my accounts has been hacked consecutively for the past eight years?".

Goosebumps instantly crawled up my skin. Shit, I shouldn't have said that.

"Evelyn?". He growled enclosing the space between us, but I don't reply. He takes that as his cue to repeat his previous sentence; "How do you know my accounts has been hacked consecutively for the past eight years. Do your father have a hand in this Evelyn". He yelled harshly, as he yanked my wrist, causing an instant shiver to run down my spine.

"Let go off me, your hurting me". I whimpered, but that seemed to infuriate him more as his grip on my wrist tightened, deepening my pain.

"My father doesn't have a hand in this. He normally spies on your pack since your both rivals and that's how he got hold of the information". I rasped as a tear drop rolled off my eyes. Reece didn't seem too convince, but atlas he released his grip on my wrist, as I let out the breathe I hadn't realise I was holding, while rubbing my wrists with my other hand, hoping it will lessen the pain.

"They are rules you must follow why we are stocked together in this marriage, and failure to abide by them would result in bad punishments you wouldn't like". He growled, as I shook my head, a sign for no.

"That is not how things will be done, because I didn't want to be in this marriage either. If you set a rule, then I would set the second, and we would both state the punishments for going against our given rules".

"Gosh your such a comic relief Evelyn, how hadn't I realize this the first day your dad introduced us". He chuckled, as my face remained stoic, I just wanted the thirty days for finding the shapeshifter demon to be over, so I could inform Reece about Darren plan to kill him, and he in turn would help me avenge my parents death.

"As long as your rules does not include watching me naked, because I know how you women drool over me then your free to set a rule. It's three simple rules I will be setting like wise you, I'II start with my first rule; Rule number one - under no circumstances are you expected to call me by my name or lay any advances at me".

I shook my head. "You surely cannot be this dumb, I mean why would I ever lay advances at you, but well is your rules so I won't argue. Your third rule".

"The second rule you mean". He stated curtly, as I pinched the bridge of my nose, he definitely was this dumb.

"You stated two rules, which were; One - I shouldn't call you by your name and two - I should not lay advances at you. But well, I wouldn't blame you for mistaking them to be one sentence, after all you didn't have a formal education but was stocked day and night in your pack training to be future Alpha".

He frowned. "I won't have you insult me, I'm Alpha and you need to respect that".

"Of course I can't insult you, neither can I dispute the fact that your Alpha, it's just I was taken aback by your lack of proper English, and since that really caught my interest; my first rule would be you including attending an English Class for two hours every day into your to-do list as Alpha, and the punishment for any day you do not attend the two hours English Class, is you being my puppet for an entire day".
