One thing I never failed to do was being cautious when it came to carrying out my duties, I always made sure everything was done perfectly without sparing any trace or suspicions behind. Even when sending out money to the less privileged, I made sure I was careful.

Each time I hacked from Reece company, which should be my rightful inheritance, I normally sent out a particular percent to the poor. Courtesy of living in pack lands with my aunt, I could see how alot of wolves were suffering, but I never sent the money myself I always had men who did it, but still there didn't know me, there didn't even know what I looked like, even the previous men I had hired to try kill Darren didn't know me, and that's because when dealing with business I made sure to be extra cautious.

But as of the last money I sent out two days ago to help the less privileged, I couldn't shake of the feeling that I might have left a trail behind, likewise Myra my wolf. It was up on till yesterday afternoon, after I had left Reece to the Luna room that I got a call from one of my men telling me my identity stands a chance of being exposed, a private investigator, had been monitoring me, thus confirming my thoughts, of leaving traces behind.

I was desperate and couldn't afford for my secret to be leaked so I ordered him to kidnap the private detective, while other of my men who where with him burnt down his house in such a way that everything was left to ashes, including the computers. My plan went as instructed, only that Jeremy didn't kidnap the investigator but they were both killed by the shapeshifter demon.

The Shapeshifter demon, who the hell could it be, and why does he just keeps killing innocent life's. I mumbled, but unable to come up with any reasonable answer, I sprang to my feet, shuffling out of my dress gown as I entered the bathroom and turned on the shower.

My mind kept reeling while in the shower, and I could only hope the private detective hadn't leaked my secret before his death, things were going to be really bad for me if he did, because now another person who neither me nor my men knew, was going to be watching me from a distance at all times and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. If I wanted to swiftly dodged his strike, then I had to be cautious and alert at all times.

Just then, my room down pushed open before it was closed with a loud thud. Out of reflex I covered a hand around my breasts and the other went in between my legs. I was still in the shower and had left my towel in the room. Goosebumps crawled up my body, knowing another person was in this room with me, while I was fully naked in the bathroom with just the glass door to separate us, who ever it was could easily see me if he or she walked towards the bathroom.

I swallowed a bile, this was my room and someone couldn't just walk in like that; "Who's there". I yelled, and to my surprise my voice is calm and steady despite the rising tuanami inside me.

The invader gives no response and in a blink, I listened as he heavy footsteps retreated, and again the door was shut with a loud thud, I didn't even leave my spot to spy on the intruder, because of the fear that he might see me naked.

Without scrubbing the rest of my body, I pour water all over my body, as I quickly rushed out of the shower, and out of the bathroom. I find a small note by my bed, it wasn't here before I left.

With trembling fingers and a racing hand I picked up the note, as my eyes widened and the paper fell off the moment I read is content, only for me to pick it up and read it again to be sure I read well. It stated. I know who you are, Sophie Evergreen the hacker, and under it was a name; the shapeshifter demon.

Panic instantly hugged my chest, as I grew ten times smaller, I couldn't even be sure if this was the Shapeshifter demon, he had never sent a note to someone before. All he did was kill, so why send a note to me now, and if he needed something from me why not state it.

It was all so scary and I didn't want to believe it was really from the Shapeshifter demon, as his name implied he could take different shapes even that of a werewolf, but how could the guards had let a strange person into the palace, unless the Shapeshifter demon wasn't a strange person, but a familiar wolf in disguise who has been playing the role of a friend, despite being an enemy.

The thought on its own was scary, I wasn't safe, Reece wasn't safe, We all weren't safe, likewise my secret. If the Shapeshifter demon was to expose me things were going to end up really disastrous for me, I had come into this pack pretending to be Darren daughter, held Reece actual bride hostage and was equally responsible for whatever financial crisis was about to befall him.

At this point, contemplating what cruel fate could befall me wasn't on the list of things I needed to do. I wasn't cautious, and the Shapeshifter demon had figured me out, I couldn't let him outsmart me, it was necessary I informed Reece about the Shapeshifter demon being in this palace, so he could be sought out and destroyed before it was too late for me.
