In no time, Ryker and I arrived at the royal pack house, as Kyla kept howling in my head, he was a big wolf who paid no mind to women, but in the past weeks I wasn't sure I could say same, yet I did.

'I thought you were in love with Sophie'. I hissed through our mindlink.

'Yes and I still am, Evelyn is only but a distraction. Let's go visit the blue moon pack in search of her, we already know were she stays'. He whined, like a boy in love.

'No we can't go to her pack at the moment, there are more important things to be taken care of, we would go there only after everything has been settled, and Evelyn was no longer in the picture, only then would I claim Sophie as my Luna, and chosen mate'. I murmured, and with no plans on debating what I just said, I close our mindlink.

Shifting my attention to Ryker; "Have you called the elders". I snapped as he nodded.

"They will be here soon".

After Darren told me his plan I found it wise that a date for Evelyn Luna Ceremony was fixed as soon as possible, so we could get this whole marriage drama over with.

"Alpha Reece". Regnolds, the leader of the three elders greeted as he approached me. While the other two bowed to show their respects, as I nodded in acknowledgement.

"Please have a seat. It won't look good on me, that the council of elders should be standing while I seat".

Regnolds let out a chuckle, as he took the seat opposite me. "I must admit, your just like your father, I'm sure he would be so proud of you wherever he is".

I smiled. I really missed him, and just like he used to say when I was younger, when a good person die, the Moon goddess doesn't take them to heaven yet, she turns them to stars so at night, when their loved ones feel lonely and miss them, they could always look up at the stars, knowing you could hear them and save them from all their distress. Even now I knowed my dad could hear me and save me from all this distress.

"So, may I know the reason you summoned us. Ryker said it was very urgent". Regnolds prod, bringing me back to reality.

"Yes about that. I'm sure you are already aware I have a mate, I want a date to be fixed for her Luna Ceremony, so she can officially be introduced and accepted by thr pack".

"Are you sure about this". He questioned, his brows slightly raised.

I shrug. "I wouldn't call you if I wasn't sure, besides she's my mate now and is bound to happen".

"Fine. But just know once you cross this road, they is no going back". He murmured, as my eyes widened, what did he mean by no going back. Was he indirectly saying that after the ceremony, I was bound to her till death. I shrug the thought of, that couldn't be it, besides people rejected their mates even after they have been crowned Luna, and ours wasn't going to be any different. Once the shapeshifter demon was sought out, I was going to reject her, and go in search of Sophie, my true love.

"So what date do you have in mind, I'm sure you must have thought of something even before reaching out to us". Louis, another of the elder mumbled, joining in the conversation.

"Any date from now till next week is fine by me". I hissed, as Regnolds tilt his head, as though considering what I just say.

"Very well then, the council and I will decide any date from now till next week and get back to you". He rasped, as I nodded. And with that they took their leave.

"Have you figured anything to do concerning the ten million dollars. The month is coming to an end, and the warriors will be expecting their monthly income, likewise the watchers guarding the boundary. And also the workers building the new pack house, complained about needing more materials". Ryker rasped, as I squinted my eyes closed drawing a sharp breath.

"What do you suggest I do".

"Hire another private investigative to pick up from where the previous one stopped. Atleast now we have a few clues, we know the hacker is a female, a werewolf, and also either the shapeshifter demon".

"You can't be so sure she is the shapeshifter demon. It might have been a coincidence". I murmured, though I doubted that was the case.

"Whatever, but she had a clue to who he was, and she could be of help in finding him. But for now it was necessary he hired another investigator to pick up from where the previous one failed, or have you already given up so easily on finding the hacker".

I shook my head. "You know I would do everything within my power to find the hacker".

"Very well then, I will send calls across to another investigator, in the main time I would be going to the boundary to find out if they've been any weird movements, and see how the watchers are fairing".

"Let me quickly get changed, and come with you". I murmured, as she shook his head, a sign for no.

"You should rest Reece. You already have alot on your plate".

He smiled, and without waiting for another word from me, he left. What I did to deserve a friend as amazing as Ryker, I would never know.
