My heart kept thudding loudly in my chest, as I waited Evelyn presence, at the dinning table. This was probably the first time we were eating together on the dinning.

"Hi". She smiled brightly, as she took the seat beside me.

"You seem happy today. Looking forward to our date later tonight?". I prod, as she smiled.

"You know I'm not looking forward to it, I'm only attending it out of boredom". She mumbled, as she took the first bite of her chocolate cookies.

"Which of the maids made this". She rasped, taking another bite.

"Do you like it".

"I don't like it. I love it. This is definitely the most delicious cookies I have ever tasted. Tell me who made it". She mumbled, as a wry smile formed across my lips.

"Who do you think made it". I stated, raising a brow.

"You cook. An Alpha". She chuckled,a contagious one, that soon I found myself laughing as well.

"Jeez Reece this is fucken talent".

"I know right. I can make you cookies every morning".

She sets me a straight glare. "And why would you do that".

"Just my way of saying thank you for paying the salaries". I mumbled, although deep down I knew that wasn't the actual reason, it was because of the way her eyes lit up when eating and praising the cookies, it was a look I'd love to see everything. Fuck, what the hell was even wrong with me.

"Fine, but I will join you in making them,I love learning how to bake all my favourite things". She smiled, something I recently just discovered she was fun of doing.

I starred at her as she ate, how she will close her eyes,and her lips will curl upwards each time she rooka bite. Wair what level of creepiness was this, watching Evelyn while she ate. This was ridiculous and I had to get the fuck out of here, before I drew the distance between us, tossed her roughly on the table, rip her of all her clothes, and fuck her still her loud moans revibrates through out the whole house.

That was how eager I was to devour her,and I wasn't even supposed to be eager, when I knew I was never devouring her. There was a huge budge in between my legs asa result of starring at her for so long, this wasn't the fast time this was happening, and I couldn't keep going through this silent pain, so I decide on what's best for every one, go to a club and bang the prettiest female whore they could afford.

With this new resolution, I quickly rosed from my seat.

"Where are you going to, you haven't even finished your meal". Evelyn asked, but it came out more as a moan. Fuck, I was too horny, my brain couldn't even function probably.

This was definitely the first time Evelyn was asking about my way about, and the feeling I felt was foreign. But still I couldn't tell her where I was going to. Something in the pit of my stomach already gave me cue as to what her reaction would be. Besides what normal person would be happy knowing the man you're officially going to be introduced as his Luma tommorow was going to fuck another woman, not just fucking her a day before your Luna Ceremony, but few hours before your date.

Now that I thought about it my plan, really seemed disgusting, andI didn't know what this new found friendship with Evelyn was, but I knew it wasn't something, I wanted to watch end any sooner.

"I want to attend to some business issues. See you later during our date". I mumbled, and without waiting for a response from her I stomped out.

I decided to go in my wolf form today, rather than use a car. Going in my wolf form was going to be faster and it would equally ease some of the heat in between my legs.

Hiding behind one of the trees in the royal pavk house,I pulled off my clothes, as I shifted into my big brown wolf. Once I was down I stocked the close between my teeth, and without any further delay, I took a leap through the woods,stopping few inches before the boundary, as I shifted back to my human self and wore my clothes.

"Greetings Alpha". The head watcher mumbled once I came into view, histone sober. I had them all their salaries so wasn't he supposed to be happy.

Pinching the bridge of my nose I set him a straight glare. "Jeremy". I questioned, as his gaze lowered. Jeremy wasn't always the smiling guy, especially because he was tasked with the duty of head warrior and head watcher, but still I had never seen him this downcast before.

"What is going on". I growled, turning a few attention to us.

"The Shapeshifter demon, he killed my wife and only child".

I swallowed a bile. The Shapeshifter demon was truly a nightmare for us all. But the hadn't Darren said he only killed people that matters or those with Alpha bloods, so why kill Jeremy family, they were all low lives,and Jeremy was the only one in his family who had a beta blood; the closest to an alpha, so why kill his family and spare him.

Unable to think any further, I draw ins sharp breathe.

"I'm so sorry this horrible circumstance had to befall you, but I encourage you to be strong and take heart. It's not over, is only over after we've successfully captured and killed the ruthless demon".

I stated reassuringly as he nodded. AndI could only hope for the best, that tommorow turned out great as planned.
