Elara left not long after dressing me with her girls, as I kept stealing glances at my wrist watch, waiting for it to be seven o'clock, and oh the clock seemed to be ticking ever slow. Soon, I lost track of time as I play a chess came by myself. I don't even hear when my room door open or Darren enters in, until his voice breaks through the walls of the room.

"You don't plan on leaving your face exposed. Someone might recognise you, besides your previous pack Alpha is here".

He growled, as I instantly raised my gaze to him,and instant chill gripping me. My eyes momentarily darts to the world clock.

"Is ten minutes to seven,and I'm not even the best in doing makeup. Also my previous pack Alpha and I only had one previous encounter, and that was eight years ago when I was introduced into the pack, I doubted he would still recognize me". I tell him, as his expression remained stoic.

"I don't think the risk it worth it". He state, and I want to argue with that, but decide against it as my room door pulled open revealing Reece in a brilliant black dress pants, and white shirt.

His gaze darted between Reece and I. It surely wasn't a weird scene for a father to be in his daughter room right?

"It's time Evelyn let's go". Reece murmured, grabbing my wrist and leading me out. I only hear the close of the door as Reece slammed it shut with it other hand, and I don't hear it opening or Darren footsteps behind us, and it leaves me nervous, wondering what he was doing alone in my room.

We reach the door to the living room in no time and memories from the previous Luna Ceremony came flooding in. How Reece had pinned me behind the door and kissed me senseless,he seemed to be thinking not to far from my thoughts, as his eyes lingered on my lips,but I don't grant him opportunity to carry out his desires, only to dump me again as soon as he gets one if his important mindlinked from Ryker.

Sighing, I pull the door opened, as Reece hands instantly found my wrists leading me to the stage with the crowd watching in awe. The crowd was larger than last time. Whereas I had assumed the crowd wouldn't be much this time, since the Ceremony was prompt.

The two elders from last time where still on stage Louis and the head elder which I was yet to know his name.

'His name is Regnolds'. Myra murmured, as I nodded, we barely ever communicated this days it made me worried, I really hard to work on fixing my communication with her.

Reece releases his hold on my hand as he descend the stage, but unlike last time he doesn't blend into the ground. He stands among the wolves directly infront the stage, such that I could see him without searching too far.

Regnolds moves closer to me. "We would commence the ritual as usual". He growled in his cold voice, his gaze darker, as I noticed a mark on his brow, he didn't have it the last time we met, and was obviously too old to be getting involved in a fight. Even his hands, they looked much more muscular and stronger, I didn't know there was just something odd about him that I couldn't pin point.

He seems to notice my intent starred at him,and flashes me a sharp glare, causing me to starre back at the crowd. Reece is no longer at his spot. Oh fuck Sophie just calm down. Nothing bad would happen tonight. Breathe in. Breathe out. Inhale. Exhale.

"Do you Evelyn Reece Blood Moon, promise to accept this pack as your own, and be not just a Ceremonial Luna to the Pack, but a mother to all women and pups alike. If you do, respond yes you do, with your three names". He stated just like last time, as I felt an unpleasant flutter in my stomach. I remind myself to breathe, and tell myself I'm just nervous even though it felt like it was more than that.

Oh wait. Darren wasn't here, likewise Reece my heart raced seemed to immediately pick up pace as it began thudding loudly. I knew Darren and I had a plan,but didn't trust him,he was too eager to kill Reece it made me wonder if it was all for power,or if they was more to their story that no one knew about.

Instantly I sent Reece a mindlink. 'Where are you, I can't seem to see you around'.

'I will be back shortly'. He grumbled through the mindlink, he voice raspy.

'Are you with my father'.

'No why would I be, I would explain things to you later and why I left just take care and be safe'. He grumbled, closing the mindlink. And if anything I felt more comfortable. Was Darren still in my room and doing what exactly, or did he perhaps leave through the back door and if he did why can't I find him in the crowd of wolves.

"Do you?". Regnolds growled his patience slipping off in waves as I remembered I was supposed to state my vows. The entire crowd was now starring at me skeptically, murmuring and whispering. I was so lost in my thoughts that I had lingered on stating my vows.

"Yes I do. I Evelyn Reece Blood Moon, promises here today before this entire crowd to be not just a Ceremonial Luna but a mother too all pups and women, and take this pack as my first home".

I murmured, as the crowd began clapping and Regnolds signaled Louis to bring the bucket of water for the rituals as my heart raced the more.

"You will be sanctified with this water. It will serve as a means of purifying and cleansing you". He stated, as I grew more on ease, my chest growing clammy and Myra began making weird noises something was definitely wrong.

Just then, I noticed the almost invincible smirk on Regnolds face as he collected the bucket of water. Why would he be smirking and everything about him tonight had just been so strange unless maybe.

Myra doesn't wait for me to think of the right words to complete my sentence with, when she does it for me. 'This wasn't Regnolds but the Shapeshifter demon. As his named implied the Shapeshifter demon, he took various shapes and forms'.
