Reece

Ryker and I, reached the royal pack house in no time as we shifted back to our human form. Long story short, Darren had mindlinked us during the Luna Ceremony of the Shapeshifter demon killing some of the pack members and watchers by the boundary. He told us, he was certain the Shapeshifter demon had not gone far, and we should come and soon as possible so we could find him.

That was why I had to leave Evelyn in the safe hands of Jeremy,the head warrior and watcher to watch over her, while I left with Ryker, we didn't want to create a sense and decided to chase him ourselves without bothering other wolves. Some of Darren men were by the boundary searching from various corners for the demon, we were so close to finding him when Evelyn mindlinked, that I had to close our mindlinked so I could focus.

And soon it became like we were dancing in circles, and the Shapeshifter demon wasn't actually there as we thought. Jeremy mindlinked me seconds later about Louis trying to kill Evelyn with acid if she wasn't swift to escape. Anger instantly fueled inside me as I ordered him to chain Jeremy still I arrived, before shifting to my wolf and leaving with Ryker, for all I knew the Shapeshifter demon was no longer around, but if Darren and his men were able to prove me wrong and fin d him, well, that would be just great.

Ryker and I hurriedly pulled back our clothes, as we rushed over to the crowd, my entering demon darkening as I spotted Louis chained and beaten. No matter of beatings were enough for him, he deserved to be killed in the most torturous way possible, and I couldn't have thought of a better suggestion, that the wolfsbane and silver confinement.

"Jeremy get the wolfsbane and silver confinement". I growled, ascending the stage with Ryker behind me, as the crowd pathed granting is way.

Jeremy instantly ran off the stage and into the royal pack house to get the wolfsbane and silver confinement from the store room.

"You fool". I began spitting at his face, before turning to the rest of the crowd. "Don't you think a traitor like him should be killed?". I growled as they all chanted; kill him. Kill him.

"No". Evelyn voice broke out as she climbed up the stage.

"His innocent Reece. Besides why isn't anyone asking concerning Reynolds, wasn't he the one who was about to pour me the acid". She murmured her face soaked with tears, why was she even crying, that I couldn't tell, but I guessed it was just the after trauma of knowing she almost died, and the sadness that her Luna Ceremony was cancelled on two occasions.

I shift my gaze to Louis. "Where is Regnolds your accomplish". I growled.

"Alpha, Alpha". A loud voice broke out from behind the crowd capturing my attention and that of the crowd as we spunned to face the voice.

He kept whimpering as he ran towards us with a body in his hands only when he placed it flat on the stage did I see it what Regnolds, his heart goshed out, and his eyes plucked our, the Shapeshifter demon did this, he killed Regnolds to imbed fear in us, and let us know his watchful eyes were always on us.

Evelyn let out an inaudible gasp, as I darted my gaze to her's, her face soaked with tears this was all too much for her. I scooted closer to her, wrapping an arm around her waist as I mumbled into her hearing.

"Is okay Evelyn, everything will be fine I promise".

She shook her head, sniffing in continuously. "Nothing is fine, he killed him, he did this in purpose".

She murmured, asI wrapped both hands firmly around her waist, buring her face in my chest, as I didn't know which other way to comfort her.

Darting my gaze to the wolf who brought in Regnolds corpse. "Where did you find it?". Beside a tree,when I went to piss".

I stiffled a groan, as the murmurs and whispers of the pack members echoed loudly, but I was too stressed to make out any of their words. Evelyn was scared, so we're my pack members. They were all looking up to me to protect their lives and save them from the heartless demon, just then Jeremy came out of the palace with the wolfsbane confinement. Great, just the perfect distraction I needed.

"Push him into the confinement he doesn't deserve to live". I growled, as Evelyn instantly freed herself from my hd, falling to her knees.

"No Reece don't do this. Tell him to free him instantly, his already weak if he stays they a second longer his going to die".

I shake my head. "Let him did, he deserves to". I murmured lifting her up from the ground.

She pushed me away her eyes flicked over mine with disgust, and hate maybe; I wasn't sure.

"Please Reece if you have any atom of good in you don't do this. I swear if you kill him you would forever live to regret it. I'm the one who he tried killing and I'm begging he should be freed before is too late".

She murmured as Ryker instantly sent me a mindlink. 'Listen to your Luna Reece, it doesn't look good that she's begging you this way infront the entire crowd. And also I think is best if you leave him in the dungeon sti tommorow, your fucken stressed and. You might want to have a rethink before just killing one of the few elders the pack has left'.

He murmured and no matter how much my wolf and I craved to kill Louis for trying to kill Evelyn, I knew Ryker was right, so I spunned to Jeremy.

"Release him immediately and take him to the dungeon, I would sleep over his punishment". Jeremy doesn't argue with me, as he does just that and pulls out an unconscious Louis.

Evelyn let out an inaudible gasp beside me. "We should call in the pack healer to check on him".

"No". My reply was firm.

"Yes". She argued.

"No, he would be fine". I growled, as Jeremy and one other warrior dragged him into the Palace to chain his unconscious state in the dungeon.

Shifting my gaze to the rest of the pack. "Go home everyone the Luna Ceremony is over". I growled, as they all began to disperse, until it was just the Warriors, Ryker, Evelyn, and I, left outside and on stage.
