The plaque was spreading so fast that it killed thousands of people in the country just in the span of three days. All the doctors were trying hard to find the cause but nothing was coming forth, they were all dying instead, which made it difficult for anyone to approach the illness not to talk about studying how it works. People kept losing hope day after day until the bold doctor stood up and did research over and over. After two weeks of trying hard, he finally developed something he felt would work but he needed people who could volunteer themselves to get the drug tested. Since the people who already had the sickness felt they would die, they volunteered themselves as lab rats but something unique happened. There was a werewolf between them. HELENA’S POV Everything was starting to make sense, the pieces that had always been confusing were coming together one after the other. Some things had happened in the pack that I didn’t even know of because I didn’t live in the pack till I was twenty-two. My parents were always busy with their research and medical affairs of the pack, since they were high quality doctors and they got worried that I might not be receiving enough love due to their frequent absence. “Do you want to live with your family outside the pack? You will get to play with your mates that you like and also see an entire new world” my mother once asked me when I was about seven. Without hesitation, I accepted the offer and I was taken outside the pack to live with my extended family. I met many people there and made many friends since I finished all my education at my family’s place. I returned to the pack when I graduated as a medical doctor so as to work with my parents at the pack’s clinic, but I didn’t step

That afternoon, a loud horn blasted in front of the palace and suddenly disrupted the peace of the palace. Everyone at the security point rushed out in surprise to check what was happening and who would be doing something as barbaric as that, but as soon as they got out, they found out only one person would have the guts to carry out such actions. Beta Gray couldn’t contain his feelings, he just had to lash out at Alpha Draco about how he was ignoring his own son. “Do you think you will not regret this? How can a father be so cold to his son? That little child tugged at your cloth! The least you can do is to smile and carry him, even if it was for a moment! The child did nothing wrong. Any problem you have is between you and the Luna, not the poor boy.” Draco didn’t want to hear any of it, he had so much going on in his head than to be swayed or bothered about carrying a child. “Whenever I see him, I am reminded of his mother, so why should I touch him?” he argued. Beta Gray paused! “Wait! By chance, are you thinking maybe you are not the father of the child?” Beta Gray asked, his eyes furrowed into a frown. “I mean, what is the assurance that he’s my child? She knew he was dead serious about running away with her, but why should she accept the proposal? She had come here for a mission which she had not even accomplished and she had many other things to uncover. It’s not like she doesn’t know the reason why he’s suggesting that, but she is not the type to pull out of something she has set her mind on except she accomplishes it and that will be the case this time too. “What do you mean run away with you? I am the Luna of this pack, so why run away?” she joked, smiling to cover it up, but he didn’t reciprocate the smile. “I am being serious about it right now, cutie. I just don’t want you to go through pain you do not deserve.
