HELENA’S POV Everything was starting to make sense, the pieces that had always been confusing were coming together one after the other. Some things had happened in the pack that I didn’t even know of because I didn’t live in the pack till I was twenty-two. My parents were always busy with their research and medical affairs of the pack, since they were high quality doctors and they got worried that I might not be receiving enough love due to their frequent absence. “Do you want to live with your family outside the pack? You will get to play with your mates that you like and also see an entire new world” my mother once asked me when I was about seven. Without hesitation, I accepted the offer and I was taken outside the pack to live with my extended family. I met many people there and made many friends since I finished all my education at my family’s place. I returned to the pack when I graduated as a medical doctor so as to work with my parents at the pack’s clinic, but I didn’t step
That afternoon, a loud horn blasted in front of the palace and suddenly disrupted the peace of the palace. Everyone at the security point rushed out in surprise to check what was happening and who would be doing something as barbaric as that, but as soon as they got out, they found out only one person would have the guts to carry out such actions. Prince Klaux. With a loud tire screeching sound, he drove into the compound at a high speed till he finally stopped the car in the middle of the palace’s compound. “Hey, Yo! I’m back!” he screamed, jumping out of the car with a loud noise. Everyone gasped at his craziness and how he hadn’t even changed one bit after over a year when he went away from the palace suddenly. Chief Kinn sighed at the sight of him marching in. “Now we have another problem to take care of” she muttered, and marched away from the corridor before he saw her. She was not ready for his problem, at least not now. As soon as she was in a safe place, she motioned to
Beta Gray couldn’t contain his feelings, he just had to lash out at Alpha Draco about how he was ignoring his own son. “Do you think you will not regret this? How can a father be so cold to his son? That little child tugged at your cloth! The least you can do is to smile and carry him, even if it was for a moment! The child did nothing wrong. Any problem you have is between you and the Luna, not the poor boy.” Draco didn’t want to hear any of it, he had so much going on in his head than to be swayed or bothered about carrying a child. “Whenever I see him, I am reminded of his mother, so why should I touch him?” he argued. Beta Gray paused! “Wait! By chance, are you thinking maybe you are not the father of the child?” Beta Gray asked, his eyes furrowed into a frown. “I mean, what is the assurance that he’s my child? There’s nothing I can trust about that woman”, Draco shrugged, only to be met with a piercing but sharp scream from Gray that made him jump. With a heaving breath an
She knew he was dead serious about running away with her, but why should she accept the proposal? She had come here for a mission which she had not even accomplished and she had many other things to uncover. It’s not like she doesn’t know the reason why he’s suggesting that, but she is not the type to pull out of something she has set her mind on except she accomplishes it and that will be the case this time too. “What do you mean run away with you? I am the Luna of this pack, so why run away?” she joked, smiling to cover it up, but he didn’t reciprocate the smile. “I am being serious about it right now, cutie. I just don’t want you to go through pain you do not deserve. Even if everyone doesn’t trust you, I do” he compelled her but she only smiled harder. “I know you trust me and I appreciate that so much, but what must be done, must be done at all costs. Like you have said, I didn’t come here to giggle and just occupy the position, I am here to fight through the pain and hatred u
Amy was not sure about to react to the sudden attack coming from Prince Klaux, she froze on her seat and could only glance from the Prince to the Alpha who didn’t even bother to say anything, and he focused on the food in front of him. “I am sorry for coming late, I will keep your warning in mind” she answered politely, avoiding the dagger Prince Klaux was already prepared to throw at her if she had proved stubborn. She had also heard about how jovial he was to people he likes and stern to people he doesn’t. Judging from his behavior towards her, no one needed to tell her that he didn’t like her. Even though she doesn’t know why, at least yet. “Now that you are back to the palace, what do you plan to do? Or do you plan to just lounge around in laziness? There is no room for that here” Alpha Draco declared sharply but Prince Klaux was not shaken by the stern voice, he had known for his brother all his life after all. “I will get to work when I want, there is no need to rush me. Befo
DRACO’S POV Ever since Prince Klaux came back to the palace, Helena had been all smiles. I didn’t expect him to just forget and forgive what happened to our parents easily, like that, but given how free and pure he was, he never blamed Helena for the sins of her parents and instead accepted her as if nothing ever happened. How he was able to put that past him was still a mystery because he was the one that almost died with our parents during that time. He almost cried his eyeballs out, he kept fainting and waking up for days and I was scared that he might actually die. Seeing him behave like this made me think about how I should just have let him die back then. “He’s a nutcase, I just cannot get what is going on in his head” I muttered to myself as I was strolling through the palace the next morning after the general breakfast only to look up and check what was going on because the palace was so loud. It was Prince Klaux! He was driving around the new car Helena got him and screec
The elder of the eight tribe, Damon, was fully dressed up for the Alpha’s birthday party when one of his servants rushed in to inform him about the arrival of his goods. Since the eighth tribe were known for their influence in the trading association, they were the tribe in charge of importing goods into the pack and the Elder controls everything that is being brought in. His own goods had been delayed for months and upon hearing the news that they had finally arrived, he pushed back the party to attend to the merchants before anything else. Springing up from his seat, he cleared his throat, “Lead the way” he commanded. The huge door to the underground storage parted to greet them with whirling noises coming from the ventilators in the basement and the men behind him needed not another word before they knew what to do. It was not their first time after all. They pushed the cart into the huge storage filled with shelves of different types and heights. With his hand glued to his bac
Everyone present was surprised at the way Alpha Draco acted towards the news of the Luna collapsing. It is no news that they weren’t getting along, but her being in that state does call for his attention. Chief Kinn wanted to go in regardless of the command he gave, but Beta Gray stopped her. “What happened to the Luna? Why did she collapse?” he questioned, and the lady turned to answer him. “She came in contact with the virus” she responded, hesitantly. His eyes bulged at the response, “She came in contact with the virus? How?” he could wrap his head around the information being passed to him. Chief Kinn sighed “I don’t know the content of the story but she’s in a critical condition”, she added, and bowed her head slowly. “I will talk to him, please attend to her first”, he assured her, and she left with a heavy heart. She has always been rational and protective of the palace in general, so she didn’t pick a side between the queen and the Alpha, but this situation was different.
