Ariana’s pov~

There was a fierce battle raging on endlessly in my mind.

Silvio has set a trap for Mateo. 

How do I tell the father of my child that his enemy has laid a trapdoor in front of him?

I tried to lift my arm but I felt limp, my eyes felt like they wouldn't stop turning.

I heard the door to my room creak, I gathered energy in me to open my eyes, but I could only see enough to know Mateo had crossed into my room.

I heard my blood pressure monitor sing.

“Ariana” I heard him call quietly, I tried to open my mouth but I couldn't, I heard him walk over to where I lay, 

 “Ariana,” he called again, seconds later I felt a warm touch on my arm, I felt my skin tingle in response and I shivered,

 “see how you are shaking under my touch, you must have missed me” he started, I felt his hot raspy breathe close to my neck as he added, 

“don't worry, I'll take you back home soon bambino and give you all the good dick you have been missing” he withdrew himself, then he continued to trace my body until he got to my belly, I felt his hand touch them above the covers.

“My heir, I can tell you are a boy, you are strong, and against all odds, you have proven yourself to be a true Donatelli,” he said before I felt him kiss the duvet, 

“papa has a lot to show you, son”

  I felt a thump on the bed, it sank at the weight of his big body on it.

Something inside wished I could open my eyes, and see his well-chiseled face.

“I got a new tattoo, I wish you could see it right now, but I'll wait, I'll wait for you to see it when you are all naked and shivering under my sheets”

He stated, I felt him lean into me, and soon enough he planted a soft kiss on my tender weak lips.

The lingering feeling after that soft kiss made my heart flutter and the evidence was made clear soon after the monitor beeped.

“I'm making you wet right now, aren't I? Even as you are asleep you can't resist me, you know you want me, you miss me, you are mine, you know it” he said.

Oh, you fool! There’s a fucking camera in the room!

I heard him pace around the room, “I don't know what it is about you Bambino that makes me want to rip the clothes off you and make love to you” he said,  my heart raced, I was on a mission to save this maniac from himself but words failed me.

“Mmmmm” I muttered, but my words were distracted by the monitor's beep.

“I came furious today, I wanted to rip your head right out of your body, you laid with my enemy, but when I saw you in that gown, I became angry with myself for not protecting you when the wolf came, I don't blame Silvio for wanting you” he declared, I opened my eyes just enough to see him land his arms on either side of me, as he leaned in to kiss my cheeks

 “from the strand of your hair to your tippy toes, you are desire made flesh, and you belong to me” he whispered in my ear as he kissed my cheek, 

“There's no place far enough that I can't find you, I own your body, and I will kill every last bastard who dares to think that they can take what belongs to Mateo Donatelli,” he said.

Soon he lay close to me on the bed.

 “oh your soft pussy, I think I'm starting to remember that night, I'm sorry I forgot, blame it on the alcohol” he mentioned.

The alcohol is the least of your problemsems now you idiot, I tried to raise my limp hand but II couldn't. 

I'm trying to save you, but your words werewere distracting me, my thighs were moist, and something about his tone always made me betray myself.

“Mm,” I mumbled again,

 “What?” he asked softly leaning close to my lips, 

“KahKah” I called out, but my voice was only a slurred whisper at this point, did Silvio put the duchess up to this? To catch this buffoon red-handed.

Silvio is just as desperate to own me, he would do anything! This is my life now, a plaything to these men.

“ ahh? You are thinking about it too? Aren't you, I just got a flash, I remembered when I was deep inside you, II had you pinned down the way I wanted it, you whispered my name and then you came right there, on my shoes, I'll never forget that” he said softly in my ear and simultaneously.

I remembered it, my whole body sparked as his raspy breath fell on my breasts, and my nipples shot up in reaction.

 “mmmm, kah” I kept mumbling, I tried to lift my hand, I opened my eyes slightly again and caught Mateo’s rogue hair blocking my eyesight, I closed them back long enough to see my hand dropping from the corner of my eyes.

“I don't know what you are on about baby doll, but I promise you I'll help you let it out soon, and I'll be softer this time, for the baby” he said, 

I need to alert him soon, he has to know, I tried to raise my hand again, but it was too weak.

 it dropped midair before he caught it, “Ariana?”

“Kahmeeraah” I whispered slowly, he looked confused and he came a little closer,

 “Camera” the words finally left my lips, in gratitude for my hard work I finally sighed.

He sprung up and looked around, he looked at every corner and peered in every place, I opened my eyes to see him scuffling everywhere.

I needed to save him one more time, so I gathered my strength and raised my hand.

“Where?” he asked, as his eyes followed the direction of my finger.

But it was too late, the door flew open and I heard footsteps come in hurriedly.

“You fucked up baby boy, you broke the rules of the parley, you know you are not supposed to be in here” I heard the duchess say, I heard my father grunt loudly in disapproval and I could hear Silvio’s shrill voice.

“We saw you touch her, ways you shouldn't matteo, you knew that still, you didn't think” she added

“You can never change Mateo, always in places you are not meant to be, you are like a broken record,” my father said.

No! My fate can't be decided like this, I can't let Silvio’s dirty trick win.

I started raising my hand again, and this time I could feel my head clearing, and my strength returning, hoping I'm not too late to save him again. 

I opened my eyes and I saw Silvio in front of me, his eyes were different, eyes I'd never seen before…. They were cold…. Icy cold.

Was it all a charade?
