Chapter: One Hundred & Twenty-two

Alpha Michael's POV

Five hours had elapsed since the meeting came to an end and I had been indoors, trying my best to reach out to Catherine, still, there was no positive response. I was dripping in sweat, my towel around my neck as I paced around the room, busy with my cell phone.

My door was quacked, so I turned around immediately. It was Trenton, standing at the doorpost with a frown all over his face. “What's up? Any news? The doctor should be here by now right?" I asked in, approaching closer. He shook his head. “This is getting out of hand, I'm getting pissed off already.”

That sounded weird, so I dropped my cell phone on the bed. For Trenton to give such a reply in a lament, that things are getting worse. He handles things without getting tired of them no matter how hard it is…. I would say that I trained him and he's making me proud, what's left is for him to make his family.
