Chapter: One Hundred & Twenty-eight

CATHERINE’S POV

Reaching the palace, I stumped into the King's chamber to see Jennifer standing there while Alpha was sitting on the bed, busy with his cell phone. I wondered what was going on since the look on their faces was otherwise.

None of them noticed my presence, and I think it's high time Jennifer stayed away from the King. I won't take it any longer seeing her meddle around him like he's hers. I'm counting on days because, in a few days to come, I should be putting the whole of them down.

I touched her from the back, causing her to flinch.

“What's so scary about being touched? You have something up your sleeves again?” I smiled and walked to Alpha who was staring at me with a hidden smile that only I could notice.
