CATHERINE’S POV

The next day, I bid the kids and the doctor goodbye before leaving to meet up with my flight. The security around them was given, and the fact that a lot must have counted them as dead is also a privilege of safety. Nevertheless, I'll always visit to see how they are coping.

I reached the airport and waited for the time to leave until we set out. Heaven knows I was missing Michael, those looks and smiles, those pitiful expressions, I wouldn't believe that I'd miss them this much even if I was told. He is now part of me, and I perceive his scent no matter the distance.
