Jill’s POVI was so excited, we were moving back to the pack. I knew that Chad would be safe from the witch in the pack territory. I did not care about my dad getting to me. I just didn’t want him using Chad to hurt me. I also didn’t like the idea of another girl touching what is mine. Then when James mentioned riding our bikes to go and get my stuff from Megans I got even more excited. Chad would be fine as long as he kept the door shut and locked so that the witch could not get to him. The protection spell around the house should stop her from coming on to the premises. Chad’s POVBy the time I was satisfied poor Jill was starving. I finally allowed me to get dressed and carried her bridal style down to the kitchen. James’s POVI could feel someone watching us as we loaded into the car. I had a bad feeling about this, but I knew that Jill needed her stuff for Uni. I was about to send Chad a mind-link when he spoke “Does anyone else have the feeling that we are being watched?”“I have felt that way from the moment we came out of the house” Jill rubbed her arms“Me too, I think we need to be careful” I was glad that everyone else had noticed and not just me. We carried on driving in silence. I was watching everything, trying to figure out where the attack would come from. I saw Chad look at Megan and he shake her head. Jill’s POVEveryone knew we were been watched, Chad’s plan to stick to me like glue sounded like it would work. If only we knew my father would have someone bloody shoot me. I noticed James looking around when we got out of the car and started to walk towards the house. I also noticed when he spotted someone up a tree. I followed his gaze and saw the man, I then saw the arrow just before he pierced my leg causing me to collapse and break the physical contact I had with both Chad and Megan. I looked up at Chad and as soon as I saw his face I knew I had lost. His eyes were glazed over, and he looked confused. I called out to him, and it was like he did not even hear me. I saw him turn around and look at the gate. I followed his gaze and saw the witch. She had the nerve to wink at me, I tried to get Chads attention. I grabbed for his leg, but he suddenly moved away out of my reach. He climbed into the car and started to drive off. He stopped just outside the gate and the witch climbed in

Brian’s POVI was sat in my office anxiously awaiting Chad’s arrival when suddenly I got a mind-link from James.‘We failed, the witch got to Chad’‘What? How?’ They told me the plan. They were all going to stick together, as long as they were touching Jill the witch could not get to them.‘They shot Jill with an arrow when we arrived at Megan’s. That caused her to fall and break physical contact with Chad’I felt instant panic. Would Aaron be so messed up that he would kill his own daughter ‘Shit is Jill ok?’‘No, she tried to hide it, but I saw her pain. I told her I will drop her bike and bag off to her later. Chad’s POVOn the drive back to the house my mind felt foggy, and I was sure that I was forgetting something. I looked in the rear mirror and I could see James with his head down. It looked like he was mind-linking someone. I decided I would ask him about it later, for some reason my wolf did not like the girl beside me. I tried asking him why, but for some reason he seemed too weak to communicate with me. I knew that should worry me so why am I ok with it? I looked over that the brunet next to me and she smiled. My mind was telling me that I was in love with this girl, yet my heart was not reacting at all. I felt like I was on auto pilot. I was trying to figure out why we were all at Megan’s house and who that girl Jill was. But whenever I tried to think about her my mind was engulfed in fog and I could not think straight.
