"I, Avery Kyra Beckham, accept your rejection." Avery said, accepting my rejection, but I didn't feel glad like I expected to be.

My eyes stared into her own, which were filled with sadness. I folded my fist as I felt the bond breaking. Without saying a word, I walked out of the cell, with a fast pace, but when I left the dungeon completely, my pace slowed down Slow and weak as the pain of the rejection began.

No matter how high ranked one is, you can't get away with the pain that comes after rejection. That's the punishment for refusing the moon goddess's gift.

The pain was increasing and I needed to get to my room, but when I got there, Lisa was there, laying nakedly on the bed.
