Chapter Thirty Three

AVERY

As I left Drew and my so called mate, my heart raced and different questions whirled through my mind. How come I have a mate? Even though, it was more weird that I was pregnant without a mate, it felt so unreal. I didn't feel the they said comes when you see your mate for the first time or is it because I had seen him before even though I don't remember.

Instead of feeling happy that I had a mate, It was strange. My feelings were distorted. I looked back when I heard the revving of an engine. Even from a distance, I could still see two cars driving out.

Sigh. I looked away, heading into my room. I moved to the closet, draping a muffler around my neck cause I felt cold. I went back to my bed, settling on it with another sigh. What should I do?

A knock on the door made me go get it,and Alpha Drew showed up. I said nothing as he made his way in.

"Are you okay?" He asked, and I sighed shutting the door before turning to me. "I don't know, but is he really my mate?"
