"When did you arrive?" I asked Uncle Jake as we walked out of Jared's suite.

"Not long ago. About Jared's so called mate... do you know her?"

"Of course! That bitch was a maid here before she fled, and she is the reason why Jared is paying no attention to me."

"Are you serious?" His brows furrowed in concern.

I nodded swiftly. "She is even pregnant!" I shot, sniffing back the tears that was brimming in my eyes.

Uncle Jake stopped, facing me. "You don't have to worry. No one is taking Jared away from you."

"Then can you find her for me?" This was an opportunity to find Avery since the person I hired was taking long and uncle Jake had a lot of connections. But, his response wasn't what I expected.

"She is at The Black Moon Pack." He said.

My eyes went wide. "Is Jared aware?"

"Yes, he went there today actually."

"What! How can he – " I trailed off and bit my lip. I can't cry, not in front of uncle. I can't look weak. Putting on a bold front, I grabbed his hands.
