So many thoughts bombarded Heidi's senses at once, fear and anxiousness clouding her mind.

Before Lucas completed his words, she straightened up and pecked him on the lips.

Using his momentary distraction to her advantage, she turned around, opened the door, and fled.

“Ms. Olsen, you're finally out.”

Heidi almost bumped into Isla in the hallway as she took to her heels. “Quick, let's get out of this place.”

She grabbed Isla's hand and they hurried into the elevator.

“What's wrong?” Isla patted her chest, taking in a deep breath. “Did Mr. Harrison do something to you?”

“Forget about him.” Heidi flicked off the beads of sweat on her forehead. “By the way, are you hungry?”

Because Heidi was hungry again as her stomach grumbled nonstop.

Isla shook her head. “Mr. Jonas- I mean, Killian ordered some food for me. I ate while we were outside?”

“Killian?” Heidi's brows furrowed.

Isla blushed and looked down. “He told me to call him that.”
