Heidi and Isla left the hotel, while Heidi made a phone call.

“Merging both companies, Steve…” she sounded hesitant. “I thought that was your family's business.”

“You are my family, Heidi,” said Steve from the other end. “To lessen the company's burden, while you're away I'll be the acting CEO.”

“That's a hectic amount of work.” Heidi sighed. “I'll return to Phoenix City soon, please hold on.”

“Is it Mr. Anderson again?” Isla asked after Heidi ended the call.

Heidi nodded, her eyes flashing with worry. “Steve is working too hard.”

“But no one can tell him to stop.” Isla sounded helpless. “Ms. Olsen, how does it feel to be chased by two powerful men?”

“What do you think, Isla?” Heidi rubbed her forehead, staring out of the car's window.

“Well, I would live every day in fear if I was in your shoes. Thank goodness, the war between Mr. Harrison and Mr. Anderson has ended before both men destroyed each other.”
