AURORA’S POV

I sat there staring at the red witch while Connor was still right in front of me. He was looking between her and me. He knew that there was something going on here.

I was still a little confused. I was stuck in a burning room with no way out and now I was in my bedroom, like I had just woken up from a bad dream or something. Only it wasn’t a dream. And there are people surrounding me and the red witch. Why the hell would the red witch be here if it was just a dream?

“Yes, Aurora. You do know me.” She said, taking her hood off of her face.

“She’s the red witch. Everyone knows her.” Connor said.

“Scarlett.” I said.

“It’s very good to see you again, Aurora. I knew you would get out of that house eventually.” She said.

“Yeah. With no help from you.” I growled.

“You know that I couldn’t help you.” She said.

“You were my friend.” I said.
