Chapter 68 - Albert

Hana’s bed was certainly more comfortable than the blankets on the floor. Though still not as comfortable as my bed back in New Haven. Overall, comfort doesn’t matter much to me. I just needed a dark place to sleep. And bonus, everything smells like Hana. Her scent all around me made for a peaceful sleep despite the loud morning wakeup from her siblings. I woke up to the sound of a shower. Opening one eye, I quickly determined that no one else was in Hana’s bedroom—neither Isak nor Aidan were in sight. I did see a garment bag hanging over the desk chair. Someone, likely Isak, had brought a clean outfit from my luggage at the nest.
