FERRIS' POV

I sat in my study, seated in front of an analyst I had invited. I leaned back in my chair, watching as he went over Jackson's documents for the hundredth time. I invited him to help me prove that Jackson's documents were fake.

"From what I've analyzed, Your Majesty," the analyst said, "these documents appear to be authentic. Every detail aligns perfectly with official records. No issues, no forgeries. Whoever prepared them did a flawless job."

Flawless.

The word taunted me in my mind. I knew that these documents were fake. Jackson had forged them carefully and found a way to cover his tracks. But there was no proof, no visible error to hold on to.

"Thank you," I managed to say "I appreciate your thoroughness."

The analyst stood up and bowed his head "It's my pleasure, Your Majesty. If there's anything else you need, please don't hesitate to reach out."

I forced a tight smile. "Rafael will see you out."
