“What the hell, Freya?” The angry voice from June roared. I saw the sky outside getting gloomy, it feels like a sign that today will be another stress in a cup.

“June,” I called his name once again.

His eyes drifted down at my hands that were holding Gin’s wrist. I can see how it angered him more. He openly gritted his teeth so hard that I saw his jaw move.

I let Gin go and gave him a knowing look. I need him to stay out of sight for a bit so things wouldn’t get messy.

“Alright,” He backed up.

June took wide steps to reach where I stood. He even tried to grab Gin who’s walking towards Navia and Van but I immediately stopped him by snatching the hem of his white polo t-shirt.

“Let’s talk.”

June’s expression softened when we met eyes.

“Freya.”

Now that we’re standing close, I can see how pale he is. His breath is shaky and heavy. I grabbed his hands and guided him to the place where I should’ve brought that fake fiancée of mine. He gave Gin a death glare before surrendering to my force.

I can sense the intent stare from the people watching the both of us ascend upstairs. June and I stayed quiet until we reached the destination. I let go of his hands and closed the door. When I was about to say something, he suddenly hugged me.

“June, let go.” I tried pushing him but his hold became even tighter.

“Why are you with him?” He asked in a low tone. I sighed and stopped trying to shove him away, “You… probably hate me right?”

“What?”

“It was you yesterday, the one who saw me with my wife.”

I couldn’t deny it but I couldn’t bring myself to say the confirmation either. So I just remained silent and let him have the say.

“At first, I was in denial. But I saw that familiar bracelet you’re wearing. The first gift I gave you on our first date.” His shoulder was going up and down. I bit my inner cheeks, “So I came here rushing and I was right. You’re wearing the same clothes as yesterday,” He sighed, “I’m here to talk to you, but my anger went first when I saw the both of you again.” He lets go of the suffocating hug and held both of my shoulders, “Freya, I love you.” He leaned in close but I tilted my head to avoid the painful kiss.

The feeling of betrayal is eating me. Even if I knew how much of an asshole he is, the love we shared is not easy to get rid of. My emotions came flooding in especially when I saw how broken his face is.

“You… you’re going to break up with me aren’t you?” He expressed.

I closed my eyes tightly. I made up my mind and won’t choose to be stupid in this timeline again. There will be certain circumstances where I must use my mind over feelings and this event is one of those.

“Yes,” I said, forcing my tone to be cold and stern.

It almost got stuck on my throat but I managed to win over this stupid soft heart that was silently longing for affection.

“Why? I love you –"

“Why did you do it?” I gathered all my courage to look at him again. His face is a mess. He’s crying.

A loud sound of thunder was heard outside. I guess it’s going to rain today.

“W-What?”

I feel helpless in this situation. He was hiding a wife all this time! I don’t know the whole story but I won’t drag this out.

“Why did you cheat on her?” I raised my voice. It was obvious why, I’m hurt and was deceived, so I have all the rights to be angry.

He didn’t try to deny it, he’s even shameless to act like he’s a jealous boyfriend!

Tears started building inside my eyes. My heart aches so much that I want to tear it out.

“I didn’t cheat on her!” Along with his shout was another sound of the angry sky.

I let out a disbelief scoff at his response. It made me so angry. The pain I felt was slowly subsiding down and was slowly getting replaced by rage. I can’t even sense he’s sorry for lying to me.

“She’s your wife, June!”

“And you’re my girlfriend, Freya!”

His answer poured gasoline to my burning incense. This sentence ticked me off that my hands automatically raised and landed on his left cheek.

“Do you even hear yourself?”

People outside would probably hear our voices more rather than the crying sky outside.

He started laughing like a villain and his head swang around to scrutinize me up and down.

“Is it because of that guy?” He took a close step that made me retreat. Unlike the sullen look he once have formerly — that seemed to be a façade — was now replaced by a lunatic demeanour.

“Why do you ask?”

“Because I’m jealous!”

“You’re already married!”

“But I love you!” He attempted to hug me once again but I raised my hand to stop his disgusting antic.

“One more step towards me and I’ll shout something that would probably put you in jail!”

“So you’re going to throw me away, huh?” He mourned.

It was my turn to laugh. If only he knows that he also abandoned me before.

“You think this is funny?” His voice was now enraged, “I did everything for you! I sacrificed my life to be with you and this is how you pay me back?” He exclaimed, “I gave you love!” He continued rattling on.

I scrunched up my nose. What nonsense is he blabbering?

“You’ll be nothing without me,” He spoke while taking another step forward.

“I had nothing before or during I met you, June,” I gawked, “So please, respect my decision and leave me alone.”

“No!” He went on his knees. I was taken aback by how fast he changed his attitude every minute, “Take me back,” He begged.

“No.”

“Please, hate me all you want but not this…”

“June, you knew that I never told anyone anything bad about you,” I stated, “Even in my mind, you were the perfect one-“ I couldn’t continue what I was saying when he cut me off.

“And that’s it, Freya, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes,” He sobbed.

I heard the start of pitter-patter of the rain on the roof. It’s as if the world knows that someone’s heart is crying in pain.

“You call having a wife a ‘mistake’?” I sneered at him.

The sound of the rain is getting louder and louder.

He crawled slowly close to me but stopped three steps away, he reached his right hand and gently tugged the end of my pants, “Freya, it’s your fault.”

“What the hell?” I took another step backwards to get away from this guy, “I loved you. I did everything I could to make sure that you know that,” I cried out. I cannot ignore the rejected feeling of my broken heart anymore. If all of this ends here then I must let everything out, “June, I loved you so much that it hurts,” I admitted.

“I’ll do everything to make you happy-“

“No,” I intervened in his sentence, “I don’t want anything from you anymore. Leave.”

“You seduced me and now I love you this much to crawl on this goddamn floor! Freya, I’m your responsibility now. You can’t just toss me after everything! If anything happens to me after this, it will be because of you!”
