Chapter Thirty

Mason's POV.

I walked into the complex building as I had been directed, I couldn't see Elena anywhere in the main police station. What could she be doing here?

Entering the complex I heard the overflowing conversations, “Why can't she have a restraining order, Judge Conner? Is there anything she did that is preventing her from getting a restraining order!”

“No, no it's not like that. I just didn't seem it necessary for her to get a restraining order because of her supposed to be ex husband, from what I've heard he's just getting frustrated because of the rejection.”

“Then it's high time, he learnt to accept rejection. And you refusing to give in to this woman because you don't know her or because you're friends with Williams means you support injustice, I'll be ready to call and inform the other judges, and let them know how you treat your clients.”

“I'm sorry, Mr Brown. I'll make sure I get it for her now.” The judge apologized looking at Elena.
