Family time

“Thanks for the meal mom.” Harrietta gave her mom a peck on the cheek as she left the dining room.

“Stop right there young lady. Where do you think you're going without giving this king his own very special kiss.”

“Da–ddy. Awwwn here's a very special kiss for you. Muah.” Harrietta blew a kiss in the air.

“Wait up Harrietta. Thanks mom, thanks dad. We'll be in our rooms getting ready to have the most remarkable day of our lives.”

“Slow down you both. You just had your breakfast.” Harriet giggled as she found the kids amusing.

“Let them be my love. Let's enjoy the few minutes they'll be in their room all to ourselves.”

“We'll be down in a minute. Make sure to be done with your meal by them.” Harriet and Harrietta ran through the stairs to their chambers.

“All that noise … These kids will never cease to amuse me. They always keep me so happy and I can't imagine my life without them.”

Malakai reached out his hands and took hold of Hireath’s palm, caressing it until he gave it a soft kiss.

“You and the kids are the reason I'm who I am and where I am. There'll be no me without you guys. I'll keep reminding you of my undying love for you and my kids till the day I drop dead.”

“We are blessed to have you in our lives. We know how much we mean to you and trust me when I say we don't take all your efforts for granted.”

“I'll show you off to the whole world. They need to know that I am the luckiest husband and father ever. I can scream out loud because my heart can explode right this minute. To show you how crazily I am in love with the most beautiful and angelic being staring at me right in the eyes.”

Hireath drew close to Malakai and gave him a soft tender kiss, she started off by using the tip of her tongue to make soft, sexy swirls around Malika's tongue. Her lips were warm and soft, they parted slightly allowing Malakai’s tongue to move inside.

The kiss was slow and gentle, deep and meaningful. Malakai’s heart pounded for Hireath. His heart raced so fast as heavily as someone that went on a race. Malakai's heart was beating so fast as though his heart was about flying out of his chest.

Hireath could feel Malakai’s affection as they kissed. He held her hands while he softly moved his lips against hers. He kissed her forehead tenderly. He rubbed his nose against Hireath’s nose before finally landing a gentle kiss on the tip of her nose.

“I wish the moment never comes to an end. I wish the whole world could be suspended right now. I want it to just be the both of us.”

“Sorry to disappoint you but we have already dedicated this day not just for the both of us but the kids inclusive.”

“Why am I regretting my decision to share my day with the kids? I should have just saved this special day for just the both of us. You know …”

“It's too late to go back now. The kids would literally kill us if anything tries to ruin the perfect day they want to spend with their parents. And we both know we can't stand to bear the consequences. LoL.”

“Oh don't get me started on my love. I can't even think about it. The mere thought of it scares me to my bones. Shall we ?”

“Oh right. Let's not keep the kids waiting for too long.”

They rose to their feet to leave the dining room. Just as they were about to leave Malakai remembered the meeting with the visitors that was postponed.

“That reminds me, my love. You know the meeting with the visitors was postponed to two days. I had already forgotten all about it.”

“Well, today's already occupied. The meeting should wait another day.”

“You're absolutely right. The meeting can wait. My family first. I'm sure the visitors would understand. I don't mind putting the whole world to wait for my family.”

“Are you serious?”

“You bet I am my love. You are my kingdom.”

Malakai lifted Hireath in a princess style as they left the dining room in grand style.

Malakai, Hireath and the kids spent the day together in the garden. They played hide and seek games and tag games, had treasure hunts, went on horse rides, and made an obstacle course.

It was really a day well spent. They played and ate together in love,unity and oneness that portrayed the strong bond they shared as one big family.

It was late in the evening Hireath sent for the head maid to come to take Harriet and Harrietta back to the chambers to prepare them for the night.

“I'm here on the queen's request to come take the prince and princess back to their chambers.” The head maid said to announce her presence and readiness to carry out the queen's order.

“Mom, dad, do we have to go?” Harrietta asked, looking sad as she never wanted the day to come to an end.

“Let's stay a little longer. Pretty please.” Harriet pleaded.

“Come on guys. Cheer up. You have to do as your mom has said, follow the head maid to your chambers. Go freshen up , have dinner and head straight to bed. Not to worry we'll be having such a fun time together very often.”

“Alright dad.”

“Goodnight mom, goodnight dad.” The kids hugged both their parents before they left with the maid.

Just as the head maid was about to leave the garden with the kids, Hireath called her back and sternly warned her never to let the kids off her sight.

“Make sure the kids never leave your sight. Keep an extra eye on them. I want them to always be in their chambers egeb they are not with either myself or the king. On no account should they be seen anywhere near the visitors . They should not cross paths with them all through their stay. That is your only duty. Do you understand me?”

“Yes my queen, I'll do as you've said.” The head maid bowed as she took her leave with the kids.

“My lady , why the stern warning and restrictions. It's not like you. You always love to show the kids. Why then are you ordering them to be kept hidden away from the guests.”

“I don't know why I'm also acting this way, my love. But there's just something about the guest that doesn't sit right with me. I'm just simply following my instincts and it has never for once failed me.”

“Alright my lady. I'm completely in support of any decision you make. Let's also retire for the day. It's been a day well spent and I want to have a much blissful night with you my queen.”

“We are just going to freshen up and head straight to bed. Don't get ahead of yourself by getting silly thoughts.”

“Oh excuse you my Lady. I can get as many silly thoughts as I want with you. You know why? Because you are the one and only true love. When I'm with you, I feel as though my world only revolves around you.”

“Oh stop it, you never cease to flatter me with your sweet words. It's one thing I love and cherish about you my sweet King.”

“You are the sweetest and most unique being ever.”
