Family time with the royal family

“Oh there you are. What's the reason for this sudden morning walk, my love?” Hireath asked Malakai.

“I'm so sorry for making you worry about me this early in the morning. I just couldn't sleep so I decided to go clear my head. Pardon my manners, my love, let me formally introduce you to our guest. His name is Hector, Alpha of the Halo clan.”

“Hector, meet my charming and adorable wife, queen Hireath of the Lycan pack.” Malakai smiled as he introduced Hireath to Hector.

“A pleasure to meet the queen. I'm so grateful for the love and hospitality you all have shown towards my mother and I ever since we got here. We are deeply indebted to the Lycan pack.”

Hector stretched his hands to shake Hireath. But she rejected the handshake offer in a very cold way.

“Oh don't bother. It's not like we're left with another option other than to help your already dead clan. And please I don't want you and your mother to get unnecessary comfortable during the period of your stay here. I'd love for you guys to leave as soon as possible.”

“I'm sorry. I didn't realize how much our presence inconveniences you. We'll be sure to stay out of sight and leave as soon as possible.” Hector bowed and left Hireath and Malakai's presence.

“My queen, I honestly don't like how you treat our guests with such disdain. You were literally giving him the cold shoulders and it's not like you. Is there something you are not telling me?”

“What do you mean? What are you implying by that question?”

“I feel like there's something going on that I need to know about. You treat the visitors like people you've had an ugly experience with. Have you heard of them before? Have you had an encounter with them in the past? Why do I keep having this ominous feeling whenever we talk about them?”

“I think you're just overthinking things my love. I don't know these people from anywhere and I don't know why I just don't like the energy I feel coming in contact with them. I feel blown away by their presence. Stop sounding like I'm a changed person. I'm still the woman you met and fell in love with. That is something that's never going to change. The feeling we share between each other. It is what has brought us this far and will keep us together forever.”

“I am your husband and by that I know you better than anyone else in the world. If I notice any little changes in you, I should be in the best position to say so. My love, I want you back. I want my cheerful wife. Whatever it is that is going on with you, I'm always here. Feel free to talk to me. Don't ever try to do anything on your own. That is why we have each other. To be each other's pillar of support and comfort in pressing times of needs.”

“You know I'll keep loving you till the end of the world. Don't hide anything away from me. I promise to be understanding. No matter what the case may be, never forget you have someone who would go to the end of the world to make you happy.”

Malakai moved closer to Hireath, drew her closer to himself and gave her a passionate intimate hug.

“You mean so much to me, you are my everything. I just hope you never forget that. You are the king of my heart and I'll forever cherish you.”

“Oh stop … Hahaha you're making me blush.”

“What do you say to us spending the whole day together to rekindle that spark of our love? I'm asking you out on a date. Please can the King of the Lycan pack be my date?”

“I'm all yours my queen. Do to me whatever you wish. You can have not only today but all the days of my life are all yours. But I also want to spend more time with my kids.”

“You're picking the kids over me? How dare you contemplate my offer? Hmm … I'm jealous.”

“I love my kids but I love their mother more. So please why don't we invite the kids to our date so it'll be like a family date. So what do you say to my offer?”

“I'll think about it.”

“Please – please please please.” Malakai gave Hireath the puppy look. It was just impossible for her to resist.

“Okay it's a date. A whole day specially dedicated to my husband and kids. What more can I ask for? I'm a blessed mother and the luckiest wife.” She gave him a peck on his lip.

“Mummy, Daddy.” Harriet called out to his parents distracting them from their already love ignited mood.

“Just when we were getting started.” Hireath complained.

“You guys are up early. What's the reason?” Hireath asked, surprised to see the kids.

“Here comes my prince charming. Come and give daddy a hug.” Malakai opened his arms till Harriet ran into his widely opened arms.

“That's my boy. My prince.”

*Make way for the stunning princess. I need my papa bear's hug.”

“That's an order from the one and only true princess of the Lycan pack.”

“No way. I'm not leaving my father's arm. I am the prince.”

“Father … Harriet is being silly. Tell him to let me hug you.”

“Harriet, give your sister a little father and daughter opportunity. Will you?”

“Dad– I've barely had enough father and son bonding time with you and Harrietta is trying to cut asunder.”

“Don't say that son. Your sister means as much as you mean to me. You are both one and are equally special. So what do we say to all of us having a family time all through the whole day together?”

“No way … I'd love that. spending the whole day with my father and mother. The queen and king of the Lycan pack is a day well spent.” Harrietta exclaimed with joy and excitement written all over her.

“Enough already. You guys just choose your dad over me. No one even cared to give me a hug. Am I not a good mom?”

“Mother, don't say that. We've barely spent quality time with dad for some time now. Most especially since the visitors came in. He's been so occupied and we just missed him. That's why.”

“Harrietta is right Mom. We are always with you. Now it's daddy's turn.”

“So what's the plan for the day?”

“Let's go have our breakfast first, then we have fun , play and laugh as much as we want all through the day. Who's in?” Hireath asked.

“Sounds super fun, count me in.”

“We're in Mom.” Harriet and Harrietta chorused joyfully.
