     Emily's inside flared in anger when Noah didn't respond to her question, Noah always crossed the line. Emily was aware of the attraction and tenderness Noah showed her but that didn't mean she had to feel the same way, his constant involvement in her family matters was the only reason she disliked him. Not to mention the fact that her mother was using him like a puppet for her own ambition was beyond her. 

     Noah, who was caught red handed from his foolish act, had no answer for her question because her mother never showed up.
