Chapter One: The beginning
"The supernatural is the natural, not yet understood." - Elbert Hubbard
___
In the beautiful city of Voldermont, known for the void icy cold river that encircled the town and its touristic caves and beautiful forest, the cold wind carried from the river swept into the window of a three-storey building, making everyone shiver.
"Have you contacted the man for the new windows?"
Linda Crowe, the best friend and five-year roommate of Kaiya, asked as the moment she arrived at Kaiya's cubicle. She placed a cup of hot coffee with no cream on the table.
Linda, a twenty-three-year-old ebony lady with heavy curves and brown butt-length braids.
"Huh?" Kaiya raised her celery-green eyes to meet her friend's darker
Chapter Two: I want to see you happy "The things that go bump in the night, are not always monsters, sometimes they are just lost souls." - Unknown ___ Surprisingly, the day wrapped up as if the awkward conversation with her boss had never happened. Kaiya had never been happy, so she took out Linda to a small restaurant by the town borders to celebrate. It was a dumb but necessary idea. In the restaurant, they sat in a garden-themed backyard awaiting the waiter to come and take their orders. Sitting across from each other, Linda smacked her pink-painted lips several times, her legs bouncing nonstop. She wore a bright smile which happened to complement the black skin-tight dress she was wearing.
Chapter Three: Kaiya, are we going to die? "Werewolves are like the ocean, you can't control them, but you can learn to navigate their tides." - Unknown ___ Kaiya and Linda ran swiftly through the darkened forest, their feet pounding on the soft ground. Kaiya's heart raced, both from the physical exertion and the sheer terror of the situation. "Hurry, Linda! He's coming after us!" Kaiya yelled, glancing nervously over her shoulder. Linda's breath came in short gasps, and Kaiya could see the strain on her face. She knew her asthmatic friend was struggling to keep up the pace. Suddenly, a bone-chilling howl pierced the air, sending shivers down their spin
Chapter Four: Mate?"The alpha male is not just a leader, but a guardian." - Unknown ___ In the torturing basement of the Crescent Moon Pack, a dungeon meant for defilers of the pack, the stench of blood and sweat filled the air. Kael and his beta, Lyra, strode in powerful strides towards the dungeon where the head witch was being kept. They had been successful in eradicating almost all the witches that had attacked them. "Why do you think the witches attacked us yesterday?" Lyra inquired softly, her voice echoing in the marble halls, as she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. "What do you think?" Kael retorted, subtle anger lacing his voice. He glared at her as if she had asked him to bite off his finger and increased his steps. Ly
Book two of the ' Second Chance Séries ' ** Chapter one ; I got my Revenge In the basement laid a young woman in her late thirties, barely unconscious, on a filthy mattress. She had a jagged scar running from her left eyelid to the right side of her face. Her nose was bleeding profusely, and her face was pale. One could hardly hear the words leaving her mouth as multiple men assaulted her. It happened every day for ten years. That was how long she had been stuck, maybe. It was karma paying her for her deeds. Suddenly, an urge to vomit knocked, but rather than puking on this man, she swallowed it because she never knew when her next meal would be and had not eaten anything for several days. "Omg, it's my tenth time, and she is still so tight." The leader of this abuse was Henry Rowan, and the woman was Elsie Ross. He looked haggard twice older than a man in his late fifties, his clothes were torn and wrinkly , had gone completely bald. His once good teeth turned ye
* Chapter 2: I won't spare you "I... Henry..hen.." " Are you so in love with him that you are thinking about him when you're with me? " His rough, angry voice echoed in her room as the sound made by the bed because of their activity became louder. The pain and immense pleasure forced her eyes open. They found the man on top of her and froze. It could not be. Could it? She was in her ex-husband's bedroom. How was that possible? Didn't he die along with her in that cold and dirty basement? She blinked the tears out of her eyes, and asked in a doubtful tone " Aiden?" "Yeah" Aiden responded as he slowed down, his grey-colored eyes met her caramel ones. She glanced over his well-chiseled jawline and his tousled golden brown hair. A spark-like electricity went through her spine just like the first day met. She was confused. Isn't he dead? Was this a dream or a memory? "Aiden Scott?" She jerked up and questioned. "The one and only. Who do you t
Chapter 3; Have you drugged him? The handsome little boy rushed in his school uniform holding his backpack. He was the mini version of his father except for his caramel-colored hair and striking blue eyes.Elton hugged his father's leg " Good morning Dad." Placing a hand on the boy's back, Aiden's face lit with joy "Good morning Eldon. How was your night?" The little lad shrugged and then took his father's hand "It was good. I have something to show you." They sat on the bed. The little lad's curious eyes assessed the environment. He wrinkled his nose at the scattered bed, clothes on the floor, and strange smell in the room. At this point, it did not matter. He was rather nervous about his upcoming recital. Eldon wiped his face with the back of his hand. After rummaging his backpack he brought out a green paper, " Dad, this is my recital. Our teacher said we should write about our favorite parent." Pride warmed his chest at the paragraph his son wrote. At ab
Chapter 4: I will find you '' Have you forgotten? Henry Rowan is in the district hospital due to accident. You need to rush there with the bill. Have you drugged Aiden yet?" Instantly, Elsie's eyes widened. Trixson Dale's words jogged her memory. She now recalled why she came to this room. Trixson Dale had called in the afternoon and informed her about Henry Rowan's motorcycle accident. She spent the day crying and praying due to the tight security at the mansion. Later in the evening, a package arrived addressed to her; it was a white bottle containing white powder. Trix told her to make sure Aiden had it so it would knock him out and she could hack his security from his phone and escape. However, she mixed things up and ended up drinking the wine meant for him. It made her lose control, and she initiated everything from there on. Even though he pushed her away, Elsie forced herself on him until he gave in. Thinking about this, she became very flustered. Her ears
Chapter 5; He is not my boyfriend Aiden Scott trembled with anger, struggling to maintain a straight face. This woman had an ability to provoke him. Earlier that morning, she had made countless promises, only to break them within hours. Was this her plan all along? To seduce him into lowering the security at their home, only to sneak off to meet her lover? It was shameless, using her body to manipulate him. To add insult to hurt, she had even dressed up and put on makeup to meet him, as if to mock his foolishness. The pain cut deep. He couldn't deny that his decision to force this marriage upon her, due to Eldon, had been selfish. It was wrong to confine her to their home against her will. But he loved her, deeply. Yet, it was becoming increasingly clear that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't make her love him in return. Suppressing the pain in his heart, Aiden composed himself, turned to his assistant, and instructed, "Call the residence. Inform the guards
