I rubbed my temples, trying to relieve the tension, and continued flipping through the pages.

But when I saw that the person in charge of the company was Liam, a chill crept up my spine.

My hands trembled as I poured myself a cup of hot water, preparing to keep reading.

Just then, a knock came at the door.

I peeked through the peephole—it was Liam.

He stepped inside and immediately began unpacking the bags he’d brought, heading straight to the kitchen to busy himself with dinner. I leaned quietly against the door, watching him.

Though it had only been a few months, Liam’s presence had transformed.

The boyishness from his student days was gone, replaced by the confidence of a mature man. His tailored suit accentuated his frame, giving him an air of refined yet effortless elegance.

Could it be him?

As I made my way to the dining table, the thought lingered in my mind. I couldn’t shake the possibility, though deep down, I had already reached a conclusion.
