39. The arrangements for the party.

Liam's POV

My alarm sings loud as I lay on the bed, covered in my thick duvet. The sun is out early today, flooding golden rays into my room from the window I left open last night.

Also, the morning breeze is cool and has constantly tried to seduce me back to sleep.

It's Thursday morning and, last night, we had a meeting with the master, talking about the arrangements for the party.

I get a call from the master and he scolds me for not sleeping in the park last night. Every other member of the pillar is there. I'm the only one who went back to the city.

The arrangements for the party have already begun and I should be there to help organize things.

But I came back to the city to discuss something important. I talked with Nathan's family about postponing his funeral. His only family are his elder sister who's married and his younger brother who's upkeep is my responsibility now.
