Naya's POV

Liam's friend, Mike, visits the hospital two days after my arrival. While they talk, I notice how he gazes at me from time to time.

When I suddenly catch him gazing at me, his lips draw a smirk.

“You've got one hell of a sexy creature as your fiancée,” he says to Liam who cautions him immediately.

“If you make one more silly comment, I'll break you bones here,” Liam threatens.

I smirk at the idiot. If he thinks I'm going to find what he said funny, then he's telling himself a blatant lie.

Nathan is the only friend of Liam's whom I ever got to close with. A very funny guy, but respectful as well and knew not to cross people's boundaries.
