After Athena left, I came out of the water, shaking my head in disappointment. Since she was considering all of it a deception, I was trying to not be attached to it.

But I couldn’t resist the urge to do it either.

Her words hurt, her actions were painful, the temptation blinded me and it was extremely hard to halt.

After being soaked, I was sitting on top of the rock and the person who was helping me in all that came.

“Don’t you think you are being cruel, Darius?” He asked with a sigh, coming closer, frowning at me.

“Life is cruel, Jax.” I replied coldly, staring at my hands devoid of emotions.

“She would be pissed if she realized that none of it is her imagination.” He told me the fact.

Of course she would be and since it was an imagination, it felt beautiful. I could touch her, hold her and she failed to realize it was truly me.
