CHAPTER TWO

The sound of paws smashing on the floor of the forest that had been carpeted by leaves from the large canopy of trees above was followed by the yelps of wolves.

Ayra ran with all her might not wanting to be caught by the group of rogues behind her because she knew that once she was caught, the story would be another thing.

They would use their long fangs and dig into her flesh, tearing her apart like she was good and this was all for the fun of it.

One of the larger brown wolves yelped loudly, a remainder for her to surrender now or else if they caught her she would receive it in a drastic way.

They were three in number, a much larger number for a lone rogue like her to tackle.

Ayra pretended like she didn't hear them, Instead she ran faster and faster, not wanting to be caught by the group of mindless animals behind her

She ran past a clearing which had probably being used by a nearby pack as a training ground and changed quickly, as naked as she was, she climbed a huge tree quickly, holding onto the branches.

She settled down a large branch, trying so hard to keep quiet and hiding her scent, the sound of her heat beating loudly against her ribcage was the only sound she heard in the eerily quiet forest.

Just then, she heard the sound of paws approaching, tree large wolves with dirty and ugly fur came Into view, their leader, a large brown wolf with matted fur sniffed before giving a yelp.

Ayra watched with hooked breath as the three of them changed into their human forms, they were as ugly as they appeared In their wolf form.

“Which part do you think the mutt has gone” the leader asked in a cranky voice as he took a deep sniff of the air.

The look on his face was irritation and bloodlust.

“I don't think she would go any further, a sane rogue would know not to come here” The other guy sporting beach blonde hair said.

The other nodded in agreement and with a huff, the three of them changed back to their wolf forms and ranba k.

Ayra who was on the tree top took a deep breath and sagged tiredly.

She was glad that this ordeal was finally over.

“Alpha! We have sported three rogues at the edge of the south east boundary ” Levi said In a panicked voice while hurrying into the large office that clearly belonged to the Alpha of the pack.

The black haired handsome who had previously been seated relaxedly on the swivel chair sat up hurriedly with cold eyes.

“What did you just say?” He asked in a cold voice, the previously warm look in his eyes had changed and his purple orbs were so dark that they were almost shining black.

Levi gulped slowly, His Alpha was actually a warm person but once he heard the mention of rogues, it would be as of a switch had been turned on in his head.

Levi watched as Silas stood up from the chair and walked towards the door in large strides, taking his jacket that was hanging on the coat hanger beside that door.

“Prepare the car, we are going there right now” Silas said in a low terrifying voice.

Levoi saluted and hurried out of the office like something was on his tails.

“So you are the little things who are running around my territory?” Silas asked in a low voice.

The three rogue wolves looking dirty and like dirty dogs growled at Silas in a low and warning tone.

If Ayra was here, she would recognize them as the three rogues who had been going after her relentlessly.

Two of them shifted, one of them was obviously the leader of the trio as he appeared larger and much more dominant than the others  “what's your problem little Alpha? Who do you think you are to ask us such?” The leader, who was the wolf with brown fur, sneered mockingly at Silas.

“Yeah why don't you mind your business, we didn't even enter your territory so why are you so nosy?” the other guy asked, eliciting a laughter from the leader .

Silas grunted and his claws popped out of his fingers, the sharpness of the Alpha's claws glinting in the sunlight that streamed into the forest through the spaces in the tree leaves.

“You don't need to come into my territory to make me kill you, your existence alone is a nuisance” Silas said and charged at them.

A few minutes later, the dismembered body of the three rogues lay on the floor in an entangled bloody heap, blood dripping out of Silas claws as he wiped them carefully with the white handkerchief he was holding, his previous pristine white shirt stained with blood.

“Dirty” Silas sneered, the disgust on his face was apparent.

Levi stepped out from behind the tree he had been hiding on all this while.

“Alpha….”

“Deal with the bodies, burn them” Silas ordered, walking away.

“The car is this side!” Levi yelled out at the man that was walking in the opposite direction.

“I'm running home, don't bother about me” Silas yelled back.

Levi watched in awe as his Alpha changed into a large white wolf before sprinting deeper into the forest.

Ayra leaned in the tree trunk, gasping for breath as she held onto her chest that was heaving up and down.

She calmed herself for some moments before standing up from the tree trunk, she wobbled to the cave that she had luckily located and thanked her God that she was lucky for today.

Just as she was about to get into the cave and collapse in a happy heap, the loud growl of an animal made the hair at the nape of her neck rise up In danger.

“Oh shit”
