Chapter Nine: Unannounced

Zeus stood up and walked out of the office without sparing anyone a look. He knew within himself that Hazel was the perfect person for the job and she would love to do it but he had his reasons for ignoring her. His attention was suddenly called when he heard Hazel’s voice while getting close to his office. He creased his brows at the fact that he only knew of Anya’s presence, not wanting to get too much attention from everyone, Zeus walked faster to them. He halted when he saw Hazel and Anya glaring at each other, anger brimmed within him at the scene they were creating.

What is going on here??? Zeus asked with an extremely cold voice while staring at the two ladies. Hazel opened her mouth slightly and her heart started to beat fast at the sight of Zeus. When she woke up, she could not find her husband in the house, and after pleading with Mark for his company address. She thought of surprising him but her plan was ruined when she saw Anya arriving also.
