Chapter Eleven: Dark & Wild

It was late at night when Zeus came back from work, he managed to fill in all the space created when he was absent. Joe drove him home as he was not in the mood to drive.

“Hey Zeus, we’ve been waiting for you to eat dinner,” Mark said as soon as he saw Zeus enter the living room. Zeus’s eyes darkened at the sight of his wife and his friend together in the living room watching a movie. The movie caught Hazel's attention that she didn’t even notice his presence which was very unlike her.

“Hazel!!!! Zeus called out to her loudly causing her to jump to reality. She stared at him with confusion, what was he expecting her to do? Not even when he embarrassed her at the office earlier that day.

“Zeus welcome, I’m starving,” Hazel said curtly and made her way to the dining room. She sat down and her eyes glittered at the sight of the food served, she was a picky eater and all of the foods were her favorites. Mark stood up also leaving behind Zeus, he shook his head and wondered what she was
