Chapter Twenty-Seven: The meeting

Zeus and Mark got off the flight and took the car that was waiting for them to pick them up and take them to Ashford's house. Inside the car, the driver was focused on the road while Mark was sitting in the back seat with Zeus beside him. Mark could not help but feel anxious for a reason he didn't know. He was trying to clear his head from having a bad feeling about the trip. Mark cleared his throat and spoke up “So tell me tiny details about your family, Zeus”

Zeus looked at him and smirked hard “I sincerely do not know what all this fuss is about”

“Just be cool and you are good with them,” he added with a gentle tone. He had never told his family about how deep his friendship with Mark was, he just mentioned it to them once that he had a friend in Italy.

“It's a pity that you don't have a sister, I would have made her mine” Mark lamented earning a complicated and shocking look from Zeus.

“I would not even allow you to go closer if I had” Zeus responded while giggling a bit low.
