“I don’t think that’s accurate and acceptable. Live a life, Mateo. I’d rather see you happy with someone else, even if it hurts me a lot.” Natigilan ako nang hawakan ni Mateo ang kamay ko at tangayin papasok sa office niya.

Nang makapasok ay nilock niya ‘yon kaya naman, “I can’t afford to see you happy with someone else. We’re different. I want to risk everything, and you don’t, but the choice is mine,” nakangiting sabi niya, kaya inirapan ko siya.

“Oo nga, ikaw lang naman magrereto sa aming dalawa. Tapos magseselos-selos ka,” inirapan ko siya ulit.

“Sige na, let’s not talk about it. Bibigay ka rin naman,” sininghalan ko siya.

“So get ready for tomorrow. May photoshoot ka,” nanlaki ang mata ko.

“Oh yes. Kaya naman sasama ka sa akin after work hours dahil pupunta tayo kay Carmelle for your outfit,” napalunok ako.
