Chapter 1: BROKEN HEART

"Today, we are going to thank one of the most successful models of this city, Miss... ALYA!"

She was ecstatic tonight and glanced at the guests who were plenty inside.

"Thank you! Thank you!" she said. 

The host who was holding the presentation said: "Miss Alya! We are glad about your presence on this platform, tonight!" Everyone acclaimed and the people clapped all through the platform. "Please if you could permit us we have some questions for you."

She smiled and said, "If it is true, I'm willing to hear."

"Before you answer any question we have to warn you. It's only the truth here." He continued with the show and said: "The public is aware that you are hardworking and you have a successful career. Some rumours are saying that you might have a lover,"

He looked glad and the audience watched closely.

"Is it true you have a lover?"

At hearing this, she was a little shocked and found it too private to answer.

"This is a delicate question!" she said. 

She had feelings for a man who was very handsome and lived far away. She could not just tell them about it but vowed to say the truth to the public. The public liked her and she was not willing to let them down.

"First, I want to thank the public for their understanding and the efforts they did to come and watch me here today on this platform." she informed. 

"This is amazing! For all those who are watching right now, Miss Alya has a long-lost lover who is a CEO." he announced with great delight.

She was a little bit upset and blushed because of all those eyes looking at her. But she was not ashamed and knew exactly how to stand such situations.

"For how long do you love him?" he asked.

"For how long do I love him?" 

Everyone was glancing at them and she smiled lightly. 

"Your questions are really private." 

The host and the audience laughed and she couldn't hold it anymore. She announced it very happily. 

"Okay! We are sweethearts since college." 

The crowd whispered and she was sitting still on her chair with the courageous attitude she always kept. 

"Apart from that do you still stay in contact with him?" The host asked

She had a glance of stiffness and looked at the host. "Are you sure you want to know this?"

"Miss Alya, we told you, it's only the truth on this platform." he said. 

She looked tight and the atmosphere turned tense. She held her mike and answered lowering her head, "We are not in contact for a while,"

"Oh!" the crowd spoke in astonishment.

It was clear she was sad and did not felt at saying her painful memories. She sighed and willingly continued to speak about her memories.

"When he was boarding overseas, he left without telling me about his departure because his parents were in a hurry," she spoke deeply. 

The crowd seemed touched by the moving experience of their idol and all acclaimed. 

"What a wonderful experience! Please don't forget to see Miss Alya and watch her fashion parades."

Alya laughed friendly at what he said and just enjoyed the kind comments he made.

"Thank you very much!" She told her fans.

Out of the platform, 

Alya came out of the platform and only thought about the airport. She had to go to the airport quickly because Tsu Lian was coming back home and waited for his arrival long ago. It was a great opportunity to mate with the person she adored since childhood. She was not ready to miss this chance and waited patiently for a taxi to station. 

"I have to be back at home by now." She huffed and hovered everywhere. "Tsu Lian is already somewhere in the airport waiting for his driver."

As she was speaking, her phone rang and she picked to see who was calling. 

"Hi, Lin." She answered.

"Alya where are you?" the person screamed from the phone.

It was Alya's best friend and she did not look happy.

"I'm out of the platform."

She was trembling in fear as she will be eaten from the phone by a fury dragon.

Lin sighed and continued conversing. "You are still there?" 

Alya did not respond and already knew what will happen. 

"Hurry to the airport, if you always think about your Tsu Lian, go and tell him that you love him. Go and don't turn back," Her voice reasoned strongly in her ears and she responded, "You are right! I will not be shy,"

She just thought of a quick change and headstart for the airport.

"Looking forward okay?" 

"Yeah!" she replied before ending the call.

Alya headed close to the road and found a taxi stationed nearby. 

"Taxi, please to the Fu Shin quarter then to the International District Airport, please."

"Yes, ma'am." He politely replied.

Airport...

The atmosphere was warm and chill. Tsu Lian just came back with his bodyguard and was received by a driver to bring him to his new company. After studying abroad, he was thinking about his carrier as CEO. Things were going to be different and he was about to start a new life carrying out his family business.  

The car of Tsu Lian has arrived and the bodyguard prepared the seat for Tsu Lian in the luxurious vehicle.

"Mr. Tsu, your luggage is ready! We are departing to your office."

The man who was tall and distinct walked calmly into the sumptuous car until being interrupted by some screams. 

Alya cried happily from a distance waving her hand.

"Tsu Lian! Tsu Lian!" she cried. 

It took her a long time to find Tsu Lian and she ran all the way from the entrance to the parking. It was the right moment to greet him and do her love demand. Even at distance, she could recognise her love.  

"Who is that woman?" Tsu Lian asked his bodyguard with skeptical eyes.

Alya had incredibly long brown hair. She curled it at the ends at they were gleaming and shiny. She was wearing a short white summer dress and white high heels. She also carried some flowers written with a romantic letter for Tsu Lian to give, after he will get to his office.

When they were in college, Alya was always the one heading to hang out with Tsu Lian and even though he rejected her sometimes, they were both laughing and had great times together.

She sighed heavily and was exhausted from running. All-day she looked for a taxi and was seated at the platform for a long time. Finding Tsu Lian was worth it and love gave her the courage and energy to speak. 

"Tsu Lian, It's me, Alya," she spoke, staring at his clear eyes. 

They were face to face and she could admire the delicate face of Tsu Lian. She was no match for this beauty, it was like an angel who descended from the sky. She was amazed she could recognise him after all those years and did not dare to touch that delicate face of his, she always dreamed of. 

"Sorry for scaring you." she apologised. 

"I came looking for you at the airport because I knew you were to come and congrats on your new position," she said smiling at him the best she could, trying to look formal. 

"Who are you?" He jerked off. 

She froze for a moment, then politely answered his question.

"I'm Alya your sweetheart from college. Don't you remember me? You won't believe it I am very famous in A city and..."

"I don't want to see you again." He said, with that being hostile.

"But I'm just from meeting you back and I even brought you a present. Please can we ..."

"You can keep it for yourself that gift and I've ever since lost that long love you are talking about." He said as he walked past her.

It was like a cold breeze passing by her, making her shiver and making her hair fly away. She opened her eyes widely as he opened the door of his car behind her. She turned back and Tsu Lian stopped for a while. 

"Are you coming?" He asked coldly to his bodyguard. 

"Uh! yes, Mr. Tsu." the bodyguard replied feeling chills all over his body due to the mighty influence Tsu Lian's angered face. 

Tsu Lian entered his car and disappeared leaving a huge amount of dust in the parking lot.

Alya was shocked and was almost to get paralysed to the ground. She got such a big heart attack that she was holding herself near a little car. She started crying bitterly, eating her lips and clenching her fists. She felt despaired and took a strong grasp of the car. 

She sobbed and tears fell from her eyes. She wanted to hold them back but they flowed reluctantly. She cried bitterly all the tears from her body.

"How is this possible? I wish I never knew you, Tsu Lian!" 

"All I ever wished for was to live with you for the rest of my life!" she said. 

Alya fainted unconscious leaving the bouquet and the present she carefully brought with her. A man was passing by and saw the horrible karma beside his small car. He automatically screamed everywhere for help. 

"Oh my god! Help there is a woman who fainted!" he shouted as blood gushed from her beautiful face. More people came and screamed in unison. 

"Call the ambulance, call the ambulance!"
