Chapter 6: Spring Parade

1 week later...

"Hi, I have to prepare for the Spring parade," Zoe said quickly rushing to get to work early

She had already changed herself and tried to find any quick snack she could get to eat. Shen smiled at her as he sipped his coffee, "I wish you the best. Take care of yourself." 

Zoe was rushing and looked everywhere to see if she didn't forget anything.

"Calm down, let's have breakfast first!"

"What do you want as breakfast for today?" She asked pausing to listen to what he will say

He made a hand sign to say 'no mistake', "I want cheese eggs and Chinese pastries with milk, please!" She was willing to cook for her hubby before getting to work and understood his hand sign.

"No problem. I will cook them right now with no mistake!"

Flower May, Region. 

The Flower May region was where the parade was to be done. There were cherry trees and it looked soft, pink, and simple in complexion. Many people gathered at the entrance of a white church as they were waiting for the parade to start. 

"Trainees we already arrived so do fast and hurry as if you had bones!" The senior said

"Yes, senior!"  they all said cheerfully

"You've all got 30 minutes to dress we need an advertisement for our company. Do not bring shame on us." 

Yes! they exclaimed not willing to turn down the company

All trainees were young and some experienced but restarted on the domain. They were present just to take chances and get higher in the future. It was also the chance for promotion and benefits. 

"I already went to many parades, so I must be as professional as ever! The main reason I'm here is to destroy Tsu Lian at least! It's my might. I have an ally who is a friend too." Zoe thought firmly clenching her fists

She managed to get in backstage and was already in the cabinet for her makeup. Zoe waited for a dresser to dress her up. A man appeared like a seamstress and already ordered command on her to let him do his work.

"Please remove your dresses and leave your bra with pants. Then rise your hands!" he said in a firm tone

She stayed firmly and inactive.

The dresser was amazed and stared at the young lady who was quite an attraction.  "Maybe, she must be a newbie." He had a pretentious look and lowered his head. "Make as if you don't know why!"

"But why?" pretending she didn't know anything

He was lightly angered and tried to speak calmly. "Did you ever mind when they were doing newbie formation? It's the protocol and it works for every model no matter how much popular you are. She smiled and took a chance to calm him down.

"I will mind better." she calmly spoke

"You better got to."

The dresser was measuring her dress and taking care of the size. She was not peeping a word and obediently let the dresser dress her. Zoe looked gleaming and was happy for the parade that she was going to make. It was the first one she will experience after her rebirth and expectedly prepared for a good impression. 

"Rise your hands and stay straight."

Senior Laura was the one taking care of the models. As they were newbies, it was her responsibility to take care of them and make sure there is no uproar. It will be their first parade as for Lin Zoe and nothing had to be delayed. 

"Model one to nineteen get to the backstage! We have a rare guest today, it's often very rare to find him in parades." the senior shouted

She cheered the models and boosted their confidence. "Show your best performance!" Senior advanced to Lin Zoe who was deeply emerged in her dressing.

As she looked upon her senior, she listened to what she will say and stayed calm. 

"Lin Zoe, you will go last, the dresser will take care of you. You will show our last model of dressing for this company."

I trust in you!" she added decisively

"Yes senior" 

"Go, hurry up the other ones," she shouted

Models were defiling on the platform. Many of them were walking and showing how natural or superficial they were, with long legs, shiny bodies, and gleaming smiles. But none of them walked professionally as was expected.

Lin Zoe was hiding behind the curtain backstage in her black gown encrusted with jewels and shiny pearls. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and she wore earrings, a necklace, and shoes that matched with her dress.

"I never saw such unprofessional models in all my life," she said with mischief

"Never mind, it will soon be my turn,"

She took out her gloves and wore a ring with a black diamond on it. At a moment she laughed and thought about Tsu Lian.  "What can they even expect from Tsu Lian? He must have no experience at all." 

For instance, she knew what to do because was one of the most professional models in the world.

"I have to be natural and self-confident," she affirmed 

She got back from the curtain to look at the mirror and discovered how well dressed she was. 

"I have to truly admit, he really dressed well my hair and my gown."

At the platform, a host was entertaining the guests. 

"Thank you, everyone!" the host said

"Here is our last model. She wears the last model of Giovanni V our collaborator."

He pointed at the curtain for Lin Zoe to come. The senior said quickly arrived from the care with the other models and turned to Zoe. 

"Lin Zoe, it's your turn. Go, and don't forget to be yourself". 

"Thank you! senior." 

Lin Zoe crossed the curtain and walked as most professionally as she could. She was showing the features of the dress. She reflected darkness and beauty which matched her color. People could see that she was mixed with her dresses and gave emotions to the public just with a single move.

Cameras hovered to her leaving out flashes and gleams of light. Journalists were present and many other people. 

"Wow, what a beauty!" "She looks really professional." "If it's not to offend the public, but she really resembles the most professional model that we know, Miss Alya." "She really wears pretty garments and it matches with her face."

People chatted about her and chattered. She was being a beauty at the moment. All eyes were on her and she was calm and gave a sensation of an elegant and cold dark beauty. 

"Since the start of this parade, this is the first model who shows some professionalism." "This is wonderful!"

"Hey!" a man waved at her

Shen Zi was assisting and made her a sign. She blinked her eye and gave him a thumb then went away.

As she went everyone clapped even Giovanni V the benefactor of the parade. Miss Giovanni entered last with the help of her assistant and closed the event. 

"Here is the creator of this dress, Miss Giovanni Valentina." Giovanni V entered and stayed distinct from the public. "Thank you! I hope you loved the parade, Giovanni V is a popular mark of dresses sold in all of China don't forget to buy one of our marks of dresses."

"You can call our company for more information." Ms. Giovanni proposed as she looked at the journalist

"Miss Giovanni, who is that model? She looks so professional!" She was a little bit confused as she only remembered Zoe and was uncertain about the journalist's thoughts. 

"Who are you talking about?" 

"The last model who just passed here..."

"She is not one of our models but I will be pleased to take her as one." She affirmed to the public

"Miss Giovanni made a kind remark to that mysterious model."

Tsu Lian entered the platform and joined in the conversation. 

"Hi! I'm Mr. Tsu Lian, CEO of Ning Stardom Company." 

"This model is called Miss Lin Zoe. She's a newbie model who has much potential if you want to hire her in your parades call our company." 

"Thank you, Mr. Tsu! This parade was an epic one. Stay tuned and don't forget to watch our news!" A journalist said after he finished streaming online

Lin Zoe had got down from the stage. Still dressed in her robe she went to meet Shen. She was happy to find him and hugged him after greeting each other. 

"Lin, you were wonderful! How do you know how to parade so well?" 

"I just trained every day and see what it does," she exclaimed happily

He hugged her to show how proud he was of her. People were leaving and models who had to work went back to the company's van.

"Zoe!" The senior exclaimed as she approached her

"The boss said you could be free for today." With an enthusiastic face, she looked at senior, "Please, send him my thanks and appreciation." 

"Sure, have a good break!"

"Come let's go back home and feast and I already told your senior and boss." 

 She was amazed to get a feast in her honor and did not expect any of that. She knew her husband is affectionate and will do everything for her. At this, she was blissed and blushed all over her face. 

"You're the best!"

"Before going, I will first get back my dresses to my senior."

"Be quick then!"

The car was coasting over the road and Lin Zoe was sitting in the car while Shen was driving. 

"What if I treat my wonderful wife to an exquisite dinner?"

"You don't have work to do?" she asked quite nervous

I have finished work earlier and I got much free time." 

She was exhausted and had worked long hours all day. She was hungry and could not refuse a meal being offered. 

"Will you do that? "

"Let's feast on your first parade, all that stress must have tired you. You will take a rest."

He was not willing to quit his sight from her and knew that she had starved all day. Seeing her suffering made him feel ache all over. 

"I don't know what to say!" "My gratitude to you is expressionless!" "You just got me out of a long boring congratulations from my boss as he just started with his job early." 

"Talking about him, he said he had a message for you."

As Shen went to Tsu Lian's office he remembered having a word with him telling he will send her a message. "Your senior will send you the message." She grasped her phone away from her pocket and looked for the messages.

"I go forward to it." 

"Give me your phone!" he said

She obediently gave it to him without being reluctant. He had a sweet smile on his face and said, "No phone for you right now! Forget about your work, we have a feast to organize." Zoe was curious and disturbed her husband. "With people?" 

"No just the two of us."

"Huh!" she sighed angrily 

They were almost at home and the sky was bright dark. 

"Don't worry you will soon remove your expression."

"I wanted to drink a cocktail."
