At first, a suspicious look crossed Freya’s face when she laid eyes on us, but when her gaze began to scan the position we were in, confusion set into her eyes. Alan quickly let go of me, to show his sister that nothing was amiss, but she wasn’t having any of it.

"What is happening here?" Freya asked in an annoyed voice that could be confused for a shriek and to minimize the damage, I rolled my eyes at her and walked towards my closet.

"I asked a question." She called again, forcing me to look back at her.

"Weren’t you the one who asked him to come in here and ambush me?" I demanded, ignoring the raised eyebrows Alan threw my way.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"I come into the house from school, and you are at the door, hounding me about upsetting your mother, now I come into my room to meet Alan doing the same thing. So I ask, didn’t you both plan this?"
