After training class the next day in school, Zachary asked for me to stay back while others were leaving the hall. I turned to look at Freya first to see if she would be suspicious, but she only kept her face straight and walked out of the gym. Chloe, on the other hand, waited for everyone to be gone before winking at me with a big smile on her face.

“Take it easy, will you?” she teased. “You don’t want anyone to see you both.”

“I am not stupid enough to do anything with him while it’s still school hours, Chloe.” I replied, using all the restraint in the world not to snap at her. Also, what you saw yesterday doesn’t always happen. That was a first.”

“Okay.” She said, rolling her eyes at me. “Why don’t you go and see him before he loses his mind?” She teased. A sigh escaped my lips, but instead of responding like I would have loved to, I turned and walked to Zachary’s table. The clicking sound from the door showed that Chloe was already out but I didn’t turn again to confirm it
