With Alan the only thing on my mind, I headed to school the next day, declining breakfast which Ciara offered me. I felt really ashamed for the way I had acted, and it wasn’t until he actually voiced out his complaint that I realized how childish my action had been. I knew I shouldn’t have covered myself that way because it only insinuated that he was a lustful person who was not to be trusted. After promising myself to apologize to him after school, I tucked him away from my mind and focused on the day ahead.

Freya was already at the entrance of the school when I finally arrived which got me a little surprised because I thought she had stayed back to have breakfast with her mother. She shrugged when she saw me and as if reading my mind, signaled with her hand that she had not been hungry when she left.
