Jenny stared at the wall filled with limited-edition Hermès crocodile leather bags in complete disbelief.

I had collected those pieces from boutiques all over the world, all stored neatly in that villa’s massive 1,000-square-foot walk-in closet.

“You bitch! I’ve begged that old man for money countless times, but he wouldn’t give me a single cent! While I’ve been dodging debt collectors, not only has he never lifted a finger to help, but he even has no problem buying you bags worth millions!” Jenny screamed, kicking me over and over while ordering the men to haul away my bags.

As if that was not enough, she commanded them to dislocate my arm.

“I’ve done my research and heard you’ve been living here for a while. Everyone around here seems to think you’re a decent person. Well, today I’ll show them what a shameless homewrecker you really are!”

“Mmph! Mmph!” I tried to say no, but it all came out muffled.

I had only moved in two weeks ago and had just started building relationships
