Elias POV:

I swear I don't know how I got through that difficult moment. I picked up Serena and ran like crazy to the hospital. The doctors are no longer there, and they were captured by Asher and imprisoned somewhere the warriors have not found.

My heart is hot like fire.

Damned! My Serena! She is in danger!

I hugged her gradually cold body in my arms. I tried to put my ear close to her heart to find her heartbeat. It was fragile, like a fire that could be extinguished anytime.

"Let's put her to bed." Sona rushed over.

Logan frowned. "You need to rest; you were tired of researching medicine."

I growled at Logan. Right now, I can only put my hope in Sona. But he wants to stop me, and I will not allow anyone to hinder Serena's treatment.
