Elias POV:

There are no words that can describe my pain right now. I couldn't bear to look at Serena's desperate eyes. I feel her pain right now, and it's like you've got one foot in the grave.

"Honey, after you wake up, I'll take you to visit our baby." That was the promise I made to her before injecting her with the sedative.
