Chapter 68

Serena POV:

I just heard Elias's voice, I'm sure. He must be perturbed about me, and I've been sleeping for quite a while. I want to see him again, and I want to tell him I'm okay.

My eyes slowly opened, and the sudden light shining into my eyes stung; I squinted a few times before opening them. I saw the familiar ash-gray ceiling. If I'm not mistaken, this is a central hospital.

I turned my eyes around to look for the familiar figure that I always missed. Finally, I found him in the corner of the room. Elias had his back turned to me; he was thinking about something deeply without paying attention to his surroundings.

Seeing him again made me so happy that I wanted to cry. I am genuinely grateful to the goddess for blessing us.
