I tighten my arms around Emma as she collapses within them. I quickly move and pick her up bridal style, turning and looking at Trinity. Before I can say anything, she says,

“Go lay her on the bed. When you come back, we can discuss what just happened.”

I nod my head and head into my bedroom; I lay Emma on the bed and then walk back out. Finn is now sitting on the chaise with Ali in his lap and Trinity seems to be pacing in front of them. I clear my throat, and Trinity stops and faces me.

“So…?”

“Have you tried Em around any other males?”

“No. She usually only sees me or Finn. She did have Norman and then Nathan, but then after finding out that Nathan was helping not only Norman but another servant that was picking on Em, I got Finn to change her guard to Kevin. We haven’t seen Kevin since the night of the attack. I have a feeling that Nathan killed him so he could get access to Em that night and take her to Norman.”
