"Why are you having such an effect on me, Diane?" His deep, husky voice and warm minty breath on the tip of my nose made me unable to stand tall before him like I used to. "Diane, don't look at me that way. Don't make me feel like I'm the only one consumed by this burning desire," he said breathlessly. I nervously blinked away my anxiety. "Have some decency; it's your wedding night with my sister." Summoning all the courage I could muster, I uttered those heartbreaking words. "I don't want her - she's just my mate. What I want is you," he said as he moved even closer to me, his eyes darkening with lust. He pulled me in and pressed his hard chest against mine. "I can't give you what you want." "You don't have to - I'm taking it now," he said as he embraced me with his strong arms. Gina is the last of the scarlet witches and destined for the Lycan Alpha; Diane is her half-sister who hasn't been blessed with this kinship but won't take no for an answer either. Gina has been stripped of her identity and place as a destined mate for the Lycan king and Luna of their race. Gina is robbed of her identity and position as the Lycan's king's mate and the Luna of the Lycan and werewolves race. Will Gina ever reveal her identity to Cain as his true Luna or will she continue to let her sister be with him knowing her heart is at stake?

“Mama! Papa!”
I cried out to my parents, but I was quickly yanked away by the pack beta, who was told to take me to safety. All the other women were escorted away, but they left me behind. I wanted to stay on the battlefield and fight, yet my dad wouldn't permit it.
“Take her away now!” he shouted in his commanding tone.
“No! I don't want to go!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, yet there was nothing I could do. He had blocked off my meridians to stop me from using my abilities, so I wouldn't rush back into the fight.
How could I just stand there and observe my parents battle the enemies without doing anything to help?
How can I bear to watch my people be slaughtered by adversaries that I have never even met?
I thrashed and clawed at Andrew, but he wouldn't release me. Tears streamed down my cheeks as my nightmare became a reality. For five years, since I was 18, I've been dreaming of the destruction of my pack.
Andrew only let me go after he took me to the cave where the women and children were sheltered.
“Gina, you must listen to me,” he said.
“You are the only hope of the mirror moon pack. We can't lose you, either. Please keep in mind what the Alpha commanded you.”
“Andrew, I must go to war. You know I can fight. You know I can protect our people. Please don't keep me here, I beg you.”
Tears streamed down Andrew's face. He was my father's beta; he had taken over his position after his disappearance. Andrew wasn't just my father's beta, but also my best friend.
“I'm so sorry, Gina. I wish a day like this never came. I wish we could go back to the way things were before, but that is no longer possible. You are our only hope, you must stay alive no matter what,” he said as he pushed me into the cave and sealed it shut with his powers.
“No, no! Please don't do this to me!” I screamed after him, but it was too late. Andrew had already run off to the battle.
“Please…no!” I cried and curled up into a ball on the floor of the cave. Closing my eyes, I quivered as I called out to the moon goddess to save my pack. It was the first time I had ever called out to her, and although she had never answered me before, I pleaded with her to bring my family back to me.”
"Moon goddess, please hear the prayers of our leader,” I heard the cries of the women behind me and turned around to see them all kneeling on the ground.
Suddenly, I spotted Diane, cowering in the shadows, shuddering in fright. She was my half-sibling, born of a woman my father had gotten pregnant before he found my mother.
Just then, I heard an earth-shaking roar and felt a jolt of pain in my chest. Without a word being said, I knew my parents were no more.
“No, please no,” I wailed, tears streaming down my face. It appeared all my prayers to the moon goddess had gone unanswered. She had failed to hear them, and my parents had been killed by some unknown assailants.
“The Alpha is gone!” A woman among them shouted. This is why our pack is different from the other packs. Whenever one of us passes away, we all experience a horrible surge in the atmosphere and fall silent for a moment. The pain was especially intense, now that my parents were gone.
I shook my head in disbelief. I couldn't remain under Andrew's spell when my parents had just died. I battled against the blockade he had constructed, yet my vital energy points were still blocked.
“I can't be in here!” I yelled, again and again, but it was no use.
“What are you doing?!”
Diane screeched at me, but I was too determined to listen.
“Father is dead! Do you want the enemy to find us? We have to wait for the Lycans, they'll be here soon.”
I glanced over at Kate, and saw that tears had filled my eyes.
“I won't wait for the Lycans. I'm going to save them, regardless.”
“At the cost of our lives? Diane, you're so cruel!” Diane shouted out in despair, but I didn't stop. I kept pushing against the boundary until my strength drained away, and I collapsed onto the floor and lost consciousness.
I jolted awake as I sneezed, and when I opened my eyes, I immediately felt lightheaded.
I shut them down again, trying to clear my vision. What had happened before I lost consciousness?
My foggy brain remembered something important.
“Mom! Dad!”
The sudden movement made me nauseous, and my head pulsated in pain. It was more than an ordinary headache. Bracing myself against the agony, I got up from the bed, but before I could take a step in the unfamiliar surroundings, someone came into the room.
“Where do you think you're going, Gina?”
I lifted my head to see who it was, and it was my sister, Diane.
"S...sister, where am I? Where are we?”
“Oh, we're in the Lycan's pack now,” she replied.
I felt a chill go down my spine as the reality of our situation sunk in. We had left our pack to join with the Lycans.
“No, no, no. I need to go back, we must save our people,” I tried to move past Diane, but my legs collapsed beneath me, leaving me helplessly kneeling on the ground. Why is my body failing me? What is happening?
“Are you an imbecile? Where do you think you're going?!” Diane shouted at me.
I looked at my sister with contempt.
“Diane, wouldn't you like to save our pack? Assist me, I must contact the king, and tell him what's happening with our pack.”
“How naive, sis. Do you actually want to visit the King? Sadly, someone of your status can't meet him whenever they wish.”
I gazed at my sister, confused. She seemed to be behaving oddly, and I only just realized.
“What do you mean by that?”
“Well, if you must know, I am Gina, the daughter of Alpha Zane Arnold and the destined mate of the Lycan Alpha.”
“What on earth are you saying, Diane?”
“Do you not understand it? I'm the Scarlet Witch fated to the Lycan, what more do you need to hear?!” Diane yelled at me, causing me to gasp in surprise.
“You aren't the Scarlet Witch! What are you talking about?”
“Hahaha, how clueless of you, sis. Come on, stand up to me, let's see who matches!” Though I was lost for words, I got on my feet only to fall back.
Why am I so weak? It shouldn't be like this if my father simply sealed my meridians.
As far as I can recall, I could still walk unhindered the day misfortune struck. Or could it be because I tried to use my power to rid myself of the seal that wouldn't break?
“Take a good look at me, Gina, then you'll realize why I'm the Scarlet Witch!”
I slowly took my eyes up to my sister, who appeared to be wearing a smirk.
Then, unexpectedly, she unzipped her top and right on her chest was the mark of a Scarlet Witch that I had too. I shook my head in disbelief.
“No way!” I gasped. “Since when did you have that mark?!” Diane's eyes glinted.
“Why don't you check for yours,” she suggested.
I frantically yanked open my dress, desperately searching for the mark that had always been there before. But my mark and my powers were nowhere to be seen!
“What have you done to me? What did you do, Diane?”
“Don't blame me,” she said innocently.
“You're just not lucky, that's all.”
My anger was boiling. I'm not going to let her get away with stealing my mark.
“You're a liar.”
At that moment, the door flew open, and a mysterious woman stepped in.
“What's going on here?”
I didn't know who she was, so I had no way of voicing my grievances.
***Gina's POV***I narrated the whole story to the crowd, and they all stared at me in awe. “Now let's discuss the reason there are two Lunas. The witch made a blood ritual with my face, and cloned my sister here, to have the same face as me. This way she could get into the pack and be with the Alpha and also be a spy for the enemies.”“That's not true! She's a liar!”“Uhm, excuse me to come in on this,” Fox said as he walked over to where I stood. “Though I still have no idea who the Luna is among you two, but Alpha, I've been meaning to report an issue, and since this issue ve up, I think it's best to report it now.”“What's that about, Fox?” Cain asked with a confused expression. “When you left, I noticed some strange movements about Luna. At first, she got into your office in the middle of the night, though she gave an explanation which I understood. Some nights, later, Anna also saw her leave the pack at midnight.”“Yes, Alpha. She left the pack at night and stayed out for som
****Gina's POV****The war became so hectic that everyone almost lost it, bleeding profusely, even though the people we were up against were indeed worthy opponents. We fought to our last breaths. I stood in front of the witch while I grabbed her by the throat. “You've always talked down on me even 10000 years ago and now. You tortured me and almost made me lose my child. Did you think these things I will forgive? Then you must not know me.”The witch, whose powers had been exhausted, didn't say a word. “Well, since you wouldn't speak, it means there's nothing left of you. Moreover, I would like to see what you look like, since you've always been in a mask,” I dragged the mask off her face, and there was a shrinking old lady with a decaying face. I shut my eyes instantly as I couldn't stand just how hideous she looked.“It is quite a pity that you were unable to preserve your skin. I bet every other part of your body has begun to decay. Let me guess, you started decaying the moment
***Gina's POV****I made preparations with the Alpha of the new pack I was in. “Alpha Zane, you don't really have to come with me. I can do this on my own.”“Don't say that now, Scarlet Witch. It is my honor to work with you. Please do not refuse my help.”I can't refuse him anyway. But then I have to make an important decision. And that is to either go to the witch or to my mate. I couldn't go to my mate because I didn't want him to get confused. Going to him now will only mean I'll have to prove myself. I have that much time left to prove myself to him, rather the time I have is to get rid of witch Zelda for good. She has lived for far too long. Before going on my mission, I decided to pay a visit to my son, who was with Reina. During the times I've been in training, Reina had been the one taking care of Leon. Since she still hasn't gotten a pup of her own, she takes care of Leon like he was her son. The only thing she came to me for was When he needed to be fed. “Reina, I'll be
****Alpha Cain's POV***I'm quickly asked to see Fox immediate, I need all the men that I can get. “Alpha, you sent for me.”“Fox, I require some men, the battle with our enemies will start soon. I know we've never really gone on a head - on battle with any Pack, aside from the fact that they tried attacking us twice. This time, we are not going to let them strike first because we will be the ones striking first. “This is good news, then, Alpha. I can't wait for us to finally deal with these enemies who have been trying to get us down. But Alpha, have you any idea who the traitor is among your trusted allies?”“Of course, I found the culprit. And you wouldn't believe it.”“Who among them is the real enemy?”“It's one of your most trusted Alphas.”“Shit! How on earth did he become one of the trusted allies?”“It beats me up to this very moment. I had no idea how I got deceived by him.”“Since that's the case, after mobilizing our men, what will be our next step?”“Our next step is to
****Gina's POV***I stood in front of the black Box. At this point, I was so sure about what I'm about to do.”“Gina, do you need me to be here with you?”“I took a glance at Reina and smiled at her. You don't have to Reina. I need to do this on my own. All I ask is that you take care of my boy until I'm done with what I'm about to do.”“You have nothing to worry about if that's the case. Your son is very well safe with me and will always be safe with me. You should do your thing. I promise we'll all be waiting for you patiently for your return,”With that, she shut the door, leaving me in the dark room with the box. Before standing in front of the box I trained for over a month. I cannot delay the process anymore. The mistakes I made in the past cost me dearly, I cannot make another mistake this time. Standing in front of the box, I slowly placed my hands on it and shut my eyes, but all of a sudden, I was thrown off to the wall by the immense power from the box. What was that? I s
*****Alpha Dexter's POV***I paced from one end of the room to the other. I can't imagine things going south. We all had our plans well sorted out, but how the hell did Cain find out about Dorian? As soon as Dorian walked in, I quickly walked over to meet him. “What's going on, Dorian? Do you have any idea what happened?”“Huh? I don't know what you mean. I just came back from meeting with the rogues to give them their reward as promised. “Shit! You should have informed me before going?”“Alpha Dexter, did something happen, perhaps?”“Yes, you were spotted by Alpha Cain's men. Do you know what this means? We are done for. All of our plans I'm afraid will go down the drain.”“It won't, I promise I will rectify whatever suspicion the Alpha might have on me.”“You think Cain is stupid? He already suspects you and the others. Since he was able to find out, this simply means that he must have been keeping tracks of you all. This was just the best opportunity, and you got caught in the ac
***Anna's POV***The moment I managed to pull away from the kiss, which took almost forever, I glared at him and screamed loud. “What the hell is wrong with you, Fox?”“Huh? You, of course. I kept trying to pass the message, but you weren't giving me a listening ear, so I thought this was the best way-”“Don't even start with me. What happened to confronting me and telling me whether you were attracted to me or not? What's with forcing your lips on mine, damn it!”“Let me understand this, Anna, are you perhaps mad at the kiss or mad at the fact that I didn't propose my feelings to you formally?”I darted my gaze from place to place. At this point, I don't even know why I was mad. Why was I?I took a quick glance at him only to see him watching me curiously and probably waiting for answers from me. “You know what, I'm not going to stay here one more minute to listen to your questions,” just as I placed my hands on the door knob, Fox quickly locked the door and took the keys into his
****Anna's POV***“Miss Anna, don't you think you've been coming rather frequently. I mean, I'm not the Alpha.”“What's wrong with you? You should at least hear what I have to say before you jump to conclusions, you know.”“Oh, I'm jumping to conclusions?”“Well, just in case you haven't noticed, that's what you've been doing whenever I come to you. Or do you perhaps have a thing for me?”I asked with a creased brow. Fox immediately let out a slight cough, which confused me. “What's wrong?”“Goodness! What goes into that head of yours? I mean, why would I have a thing for you in the first place?”“Well, I have no idea. Yours actions keep confusing me, so you can't blame me for thinking that way,”“Trust me, there's nothing like that,” he said while staring deep in my eyes as if he were searching for Something. I cleared my throat quickly. For some reason, his gaze made me uncomfortable. “So tell me, why are you here?”Now that he's come back to being serious, I quickly walked over
***Diane's POV****The moment it was the middle of the night, I quickly dressed up and wore a dark cloak which hid my face. I needed to get out of the pack to pass my message, and the only way I could do that was this time of the night. The witch had earlier informed me to call on her if I had anything to report to her. At this point, there's a lot she needed to know about. Starting with the fact that Alpha Cain had found a lead which I do not know about. And also the fact that Anna had come to stay with me. I knew she was going to keep a close watch on me all through the day. That's why the best time to do this was in the middle of the night. When I know she wouldn't have the time to watch over me. I passed through the place Anna had earlier shown me to be our hideout. This was better than when I had to go through the pack house. If truly I was able to get through to the witch using the hideout, that simply means this will be my new route. The other which I used was quite risky an
