JEREMIAH

Seeing Emma sobbing at my feet broke my heart. I had no intention of punishing her. She still needs to be careful so that the wrong people don’t find out what she is, but other than that, most of my original rules for her have gone out of the window.

I crouch down next to her and slide my hand over her head before sliding it down and under her chin. I apply a little pressure and tilt her head up so that she can look at me; I hiss low when she doesn’t lift her eyes,

“Look at me, Emma…”

I watch as she slowly lifts her eyes and meets mine. I then smile as I say,

“I am not going to punish you. You have done nothing wrong, my pet. Come, it is still early.”

I then get back to my feet and hold out my hand. I nod my head and she lifts her hand and places it in mine. I give it a small tug and help her to her feet, I then smile as a slight surprised scream leaves her lips as I bend down, hooking my arm around her waist and under her knees picking her up and then carrying her over to th
