We all stood at the doors of the hangar and watched as Emma’s plane taxied down the runway. I tighten my arm around Skyler, bringing her in closer so that I can place a kiss on the side of her head. It feels so good to have the family back together and whole. As I turn with Skyler to head back home, I stop and watch the plane as it suddenly stops at the beginning of the runway.
