EMMA I have been doing everything that I would normally do; I was surprised and a little disappointed when the Master didn’t return after his birthday celebration. I was ready, after what I did and how it made me feel to see such pleasure on the Master's face, and then with what he did to me in the shower, I am ready to give myself to him. Odette is yipping and howling in my head at my decision to finally allow her to complete the mating and hopefully the marking. My excitement slowly turned into disappointment as the length of nights and days the Master hadn’t returned turned into weeks. EMMA I woke early that evening and fold up the blanket I used and placed the book on top ready for the morning, knowing that I will not be able to stay within the Master’s chambers at least for the time being.I leave Finn and Ali’s chambers and head back to the Master’s. I quietly open the door and make my way through the sitting room, over to the bedroom. I open the doors quietly and then make my way into the closet, walking all the way into the back and slipping out of the nightdress and into a servant’s one.I then slip back out of the closet and through the bedroom. I glance at the bed and see that the vampiress is still sleeping, but the Master is not there. I look over at the bathroom and listen. EMMA Lexis leans down and swipes her tongue over her bite, licking up the blood that managed to trickle down my neck before my healing stopped the bleeding. She then walks over to the door and pulls something on the wall there, making my arms stretch out above me even more.Lexis then exits the cell, wraps her arm around the Master and then closes the door, plunging me into the darkness. I let out a small sob and turn to Odette."Odette?"I feel her try to shift and then her soft voice in my head,"I'm sorry, Emma. These cuffs must have a very small amount of silver within them. I can't do anything..."I don't know how long I was in the darkness. I flinch at the sound of the door unlocking. I then shut my eyes and turn my head quickly as the door opens and light floods my cell. It takes a little while before my eyes adjust and I can open them without squinting. I turn, lift my head and look at who entered my cell.

JEREMIAH I am startled awake by a very angry Lexis. She comes storming into the bedroom yelling, “What did you do with her? Where is she?” I sit up in the bed and look at her as if she had grown two or maybe three heads. I shake my head and rasp, “What are you talking about?” “Where is she?” “She who? Sweetheart?” “The servant you gave me for our bonding?” “I haven’t been down there since I gave her to you.” “Who else has been in here?” “No one, everyone knows that my chambers are off limits.
